I’ll start:

Otrivine for colds

Clinique lash power - amazing mascara that stays on all day with no smudging

Silicone ear plugs - they even block out DHs snoring!

Sudafed decongestant spray

WD40 probably does more than it says on the tin!

Seconded on the Sudafed!

Unseelie · 01/11/2022 21:44

Noise-reducing double-glazing window. I was so surprised when it actually worked 😀

ReedOfFate · 01/11/2022 21:45

Dr Beckman carpet cleaner. There’s some sort of voodoo about the way in which it removes red wine from cream carpets!

Also sudocrem - even the 15 year old pots I have from the baby years clear up scratches and cuts like magic

motleymop · 01/11/2022 21:48

Cif. Marvellous stuff.

PuppyMonkey · 01/11/2022 21:49

(Which is before and which is after in those pix?Confused)

PerkingFaintly · 01/11/2022 21:52

Well not blooming Ronseal. Their wood hardener noticeably failed to do what it said on the tin. <grumble grumble>

Night Nurse for a good nights sleep when ill.

Pink stuff cleaning paste.

Needesppressonow · 01/11/2022 21:55

@CookieDoughKid i’ve just DMd you. Thanks

JennyForeigner · 01/11/2022 21:58

Calpol, the original magic juice.

The last three years of our life would have been unsurvivable without it.

LateMumma · 01/11/2022 22:01

Seche vite, marvellous stuff. I'm interested in tretinoin, other than prescription where's the best place to buy?

(Which is before and which is after in those pix?Confused)

Haha exactly! Just different lighting and slightly different angle

RobertaFirmino · 01/11/2022 22:05

Elbow Grease spray. It's the dog's bollocks!

AlwaysGinPlease · 01/11/2022 22:12

@PixieLaLa she looks great, whatever.

SherbettingSherbert · 01/11/2022 22:13

I second Elbow Grease Spray, has even gotten set in grease stains out of a favourite pair of trousers in the past. Absolutely amazing stuff.

LynetteScavo · 01/11/2022 22:27

Pukka night time tea for a decent nights sleep

Dr Beckmann Glow White to keep everything white

LynetteScavo · 01/11/2022 22:30

@CookieDoughKid - sorry I don't see much difference.

kingtamponthefurred · 01/11/2022 22:33

Aloe vera gel for skin irritations.

TabithaSally · 01/11/2022 22:36

Batiste dry shampoo. I have dark hair so have to rub it in a bit but it's amazing.

Nurofen express. Couldn't get through hormonal migraines without it!

Dr Beckmann is amazing, got my toddlers red pasta sauce sick stain out of a silver carpet! (Sorry)

M and S £1 stain removing wipes. What a life saver.

catfunk · 01/11/2022 22:40

Night nurse liquid
Elbow grease spray
HG Limescale remover

BlackCatTabbyCat · 01/11/2022 22:44

Came on to say Elbow Grease spray but been beaten to it. Also pink stuff paste.

FOJN · 01/11/2022 22:44

I second Elbow Grease Degreaser, it works on everything including clothes and brushed stainless steel kitchen appliances.

Frostine · 01/11/2022 22:45

Dermatica is a prescribed skin care . It takes a few months to see a difference but does work. A friends referral gives you your first month for £2.90 and 2nd month for 20% off . It gives the person who gives you the code £5.00 off their next month.
here is a code if anyone is interested.
