Madonna - went from candy to money

I don’t understand her recent Instagram post where she says she went from candy to money. Admittedly I’m not very “up” on modern parlance, which is why I’m asking - what does it actually mean?

I just find myself regularly confused by what “modern” people mean and say and this is no exception! I’m clearly an old bat!

Look at her nipples one is candy one is money?

Has there ever been a point in history where mums and dads don’t even have a clue what the younger ones even mean anymore? Not that Madonna is a “younger one” (she’s older than me) but as a trendy celeb she’s clearly far more up to date with current cultural parlance than I am!

I have no idea what she means. Is she OK? There must be a lot of pressure to stay young / relevant, although fuck knows why - surely she's got enough money to get by.

Isn't she saying - went from giving candy to the children (knocking, to trick or treat), to giving them money.

But in this case the money is her body. Sort of riffing off stripper talk.
And obviously the children are hypothetical.
And the images are photoshopped to hell.

But really she's saying Look at me! I am so youthful! And really edgy! Did I shock you? Talk about me!

She looks terrible. I'd never recognise her if I hadn't already seen some of her Insta. I think it's just a Halloween 'joke' where one nipple is candy and one is money. Can't see any urban slang involved.

I have no idea what she's on about, she seems to be a bit odd lately
