Just watched Liz Truss and she didn't answer 1 bloody question properly she kept repeating the same sentences .

Just like Boris Johnson then............

She may as well have said “I don’t know the answers so I’m going home” when she walked off

I'm old enough to remember "did you threaten to overrule him?" With Paxman. None of these arseholes answer a direct question.

She has to stick to a script because she can't ad lib. So she answers various questions with the same prepped answer, whether it's relevant to the question or not. That's not unusual though

You're right. The whole presentation was "you're clearly not capable of understanding my policy so I'm going to have to make it really simple for you"

I'm reading an article about Jan 6 hearings (Guardian). Nancy Pelosi's Chief of Staff tells her (she was at the Capitol with furious rioters outside the door) the Secret Service have told Trump to stay away. Her response? "If he comes, I'm going to punch him out". Good for her. Can you imagine Liz T in a similar situation? She hasn't got it. She needs to leave with some remnant of dignity before she's escorted out. And as for those Tory members who voted for her to be leader? Not sure they're well enough to vote.
