Ive just been reading how her ex husband and new partner are expecting a baby.....after leaving her less than a year ago. I can't even imagine what she must be feeling however a 'source' said they wouldn't expect Helen to be too bothered because they have both moved on with their lives. How the hell can you move on so quickly? She was pregnant with his child this time last year and they have a baby less than a year old! If I was Helen, I would be absolutely devastated. I wouldn't usually post things like this but I feel for Helen so much - I want her to win strictly! Unless I am completely wrong and she doesn't give a f**k - if that's the case then all credit to her!

She's a really good dancer and on top of everything else she will get my vote. What a complete shitpouch of a man and the woman - how can she be attracted to someone who leaves his wife with a newborn and gets with her straight away and then gets pregnant. Absolutely no morals the pair of them. Or her family posing for pictures with him.

If you were any of the three of Helen's children, I just cannot see how when you grow up and are an adult, you will not look back on what your father did and think, in light of the speed with which he got new girlfriend pregnant - "what was wrong with me? was I not your child before this stranger got pregnant? did you not love me? why did you not stay for me?"
how could you not? It is like he left Helen because he did not care about children, nay he did not care about his own children and yet having more children is something he is not too fussed about and will do casually and quickly if it suits his career.

Strictly will probably be much needed therapy for her, whether she wins or not. I can imagine it’s just what you need after being treated so awfully and having your heart broken. Her ex is an utter piece of shit and imagine being his new girlfriend, she’s an embarrassment. Proof you can be stinking rich and still utterly desperate and devoid of class or standards. Her family and his must be so utterly ashamed. The super fast pregnancy is such a cliche - it’s so clear when the new woman knows she can’t trust the man as far as she can throw him and has to ‘lock him in’ and show everyone how genuine their love is 🤣🤮 Be interesting to know if when her baby is four months old she has even a sliver of insight into just how awful it was of her boyfriend to cheat on and ditch Helen at that time. They deserve each other and I really hope Strictly is the start of a happy new chapter for Helen. I don’t know her but she represents so many women in that situation and seeing her rise and shine from this car crash I think really matters for that reason.

They live fairly close to me (Myler & the girlfriend). She cheated on her husband too. They had an absolutely massive wedding about four years ago that cost her father a fortune. The husband is a really decent guy and both he and Helen deserve better than their cheating partners. I really don't understand them at all. The Thirkills swan around as if they are someone special, and they seem to have embraced Myler as part of the family. Something is rotten in the state of Harrogate there.

She is an okay dancer, but she won’t win, nor should she just because she’s had a shit time of it.

But I think that everyone knows that where the public is involved personality, sob story etc takes over rather than dancing skill.

Some facts people are missing here:

The girlfriend is far richer than Helen will ever be, we're talking hundreds of millions.

The girlfriend's dad is president of the club Helen's ex plays for.

The girlfriend was also married and left her husband for Helen's ex. Helen has been in touch with him to talk about the dodgy timelines.

Nothing to do with Strictly, but so much drama!

2 sides to every story?! Certainly intrigued to know what possible justification there could be for walking out on your 3 children (Inc newborn!) and getting your mistress pregnant immediately.
Even if your narrative somehow creates a near ending to him walking out on Helen before meeting this new one (which I don't believe for a second!) getting another woman pregnant so quickly is appalling.
So no I don't think Helen needed to do anything to discredit him or his new partner their actions alone were enough to do this. How his family are being supportive of his reckless behaviour is beyond me he's emotionally damaging his 3 children without a second thought.
As I said he's a massive bellend and his new girlfriend nasty and deluded.

I hope Helen gets as far in Strictly as she wants to- she might not want to stay in for a long time and in the run up to Christmas with three young children! I have met her and she was lovely and spent time with a group of Brownies who happened to be near. If I was her I would make sure her husband has their children overnight frequently (provided they are happy to go). Him and his new girlfriend will have two children and two babies to take care of, not exactly new romance stuff and in my free time I would do exactly what I felt like doing.

No way would I let her play mum to my kids! Too soon for that. And the baby is too young for any kind of ‘overnight’ stay, particularly as all their attention will be on the shiny new baby.

I hope she’s taking down time to process things and isn’t packing her schedule too much, I totally understand the temptation to stay busy but it can result in emotional burnout later on. She’s been treated like shit and it’s more than ok not to act all totally fine with it.

That is as maybe. But just because someone isn’t horrible doesn’t mean that they aren’t capable of being thoughtless and coming across as horrible.

I think though that by going full on ‘farmleeee’ on social media when a family has been left behind so recently is horrible. And thoughtless. And that is on both of them.

Fine if you want to be with someone else. It is never going to be painless.

But folk need to be thinking of all parties involved (including the bairns) and not just themselves.
