Anyone else rooting for Helen Skelton to win strictly?

Ive just been reading how her ex husband and new partner are expecting a baby.....after leaving her less than a year ago.

I can't even imagine what she must be feeling however a 'source' said they wouldn't expect Helen to be too bothered because they have both moved on with their lives.

How the hell can you move on so quickly? She was pregnant with his child this time last year and they have a baby less than a year old! If I was Helen, I would be absolutely devastated.

I wouldn't usually post things like this but I feel for Helen so much - I want her to win strictly!

Unless I am completely wrong and she doesn't give a f**k - if that's the case then all credit to her!

I met her in person through work a few years back and really didn’t warm to her so definitely not rooting for her I’m afraid.

Hellen Skelton in shorts. at festivals, on holiday, in a bikini...etc etc.. it was going on every time you looked (if you could be bothered) Helen Skelton here there and everywhere.. all cleverly put out by her agent. A great opportunity to put her 'out there' If you did not know who she was before - you do now !
I am not anti her. I think she is boring and a crap presenter but with relation to her personal life which she has made very public - to say it is all one sided is wrong. To reveal my source is impossible, but she is far from perfect. She made the press release saying he had left her with a newborn which is not quite the way it happened is all I will say

How shocking that a woman posts photos in a bikini or shorts on social media and how shocking that she uses her agent to raise her profile. Anyone would think it was their job or something,. Bleating to the press implies that she was talking about him to them but actually she hasn’t mentioned him at all. She was doing pretty nicely for herself before strictly, she has regular tv shows and a radio show on 5live, seems to work with various brands too and I’m sure doing strictly is going to do good things for her career.

Im not sure where anyone has said Helen is perfect? Nobody is perfect but that isn’t a reason for her husband to treat her like crap. I’m pretty sure it is clear to everyone that he was cheating on her with this new woman while Helen was pregnant/had a new baby, and now another one on the way when his youngest isn’t even 10 months old. I’m judging him and his new girlfriend by their own actions and they haven’t been covering themselves with glory. I am sure he is absolutely gutted inside that he is now stuck with another baby.

Yep, it’s all exciting now but give it a few years and Stephanie will be keeping a VERY close eye on him. She knows what he’s capable of (whatever the excuses) and she will no longer be a shiny new toy.

And you like a lot of other people have read all the stuff she has put out in the press to discredit him. It has been relentless and we have had 'Helen Skelton the poor woman with three children' shoved down our throats ad nauseum.
There are two sides to every story and he has remained silent throughout. if she had not bleated to the press at every opportunity, most people would not even know who she is.
But we all do now !

The facts are that within mere months of his youngest child being born he’s having another baby with someone else, while still married to his first wife and the door still swinging shut behind him. For all there is always two sides, there is nothing that could have gone on in his marriage to justify that. Even if he was being mistreated or something the thing to do would be to leave and have 50/50 custody at least of his kids while supporting them and prioritising their adjustment and well-being. Not to have an affair and knock up someone else, shacking up with her immediately and probably traumatising his older kids in the process.

You’re trying to defend the indefensible. I can imagine this is the sort of shit the OW is feeding her family and friends while they nod politely, smile tightly for the ‘family’ photos and think sadly what a deluded idiot she is and how much she’s embarrassed them all.

No one has said she is perfect.

From what I remember, it was all over the press and then she put up a social media post confirming that he had left the family home. Confirming what the press had already said. And that's all she's ever said?

I also remember a source saying she had actually hired a private detective as she had a feeling he was up to no good. Make of that what you will.

Regardless, she could of been the worst wife imaginable but what about the 3 children he shared with her? In less than a year the 2 older children have welcomed a new sibling, daddy leaves, daddy has a new girlfriend and now daddy's new girlfriend is pregnant with a baby.

Personally i think they probably feel like they have to put the whole 'love you' crap on social media. It's all for show. They have to look like they are a happy strong together couple....Otherwise they just look like even bigger bell ends than they already are.

I bet it's not all 'lovey dovey' behind closed doors that's for sure.

I've always liked her, she's always seemed like a lovely girl. Her ex husband is a shit.

I voted for her, I like to see people learn to dance on strictly, I'm not that interested in people who start out and have clearly had some form of training already eg the young ish girl on it who is on kids tv, she's been to theatre school so no surprises she can dance better than most of them from the start. I want to see someone improve over time eg the bill baileys. I think Helen will improve over time I want her to stay, whether she'll win, probably not as women tend to vote for men, I do like watching Will admittedly!

It makes me really sad to think of his kids but especially the baby daughter. I know she’s too little to know what’s going on but it makes me sad that at only 1 she won’t be the ‘baby’ of the family.

I think she is lovely inside and out and a very determined hard worker. I don't think she will win but she will go far, on her own merit too. Her ex isnt worth thinking about, what a creep

Richie Myler is a yorkshireman enough said. Not all men from yorkshire are unfaithful alley cats but an unusually higher proportion of them are than elsewhere. Not that that will be of any solace to Helen.

I expect Helen feels particularly miffed that the newly pregnant woman is 32 and she is 39 and Richie being the kind of person he is will probably have about 3 or 4 kids with this new woman (being the daughter of a millionaire that she is so why not?) before he leaves this new woman for another bit of fluff except next time the new woman will be about 12 years younger than Richie.
Seen it time and time again in Yorkshire.

it doesn’t matter that it involves famous folk. It could be Jimmy from down the pub and Shaz from the co-op.

I personally think it a a bit of a cunty move to put the pregnancy and the declarations of happiness and love all over social media when the end of a family is so new.

There is no need. Those close to them will know they’re happy and she is pregnant and that is all that should matter.

The great big declarations sound like a big fuck you. Whether it be to old lives, the media or naysayers.

Either that or desperately trying to convince everyone just how speshul they are together.

I would be convinced. For now. But I would also know what someone is capable of.

All the money and likes and ticks and magazine appearances in the world wouldn’t convince me that a dick wouldn’t twitch at the next minted bloke’s daughter who shook her arse his way.

Beats putting a pension plan in place though.

Those timelines are madness. My daughter was born at the end of February this year, I was 4 weeks pregnant the first week of July. His new piece wasn’t pregnant when he left Helen in April, IF the baby is due in Feb. Not sure where the due date came from?

Imagine a TV presenter having a social media presence... Especially one that had to try and keep her profile high while having limited work options while she was in France for his career.

He's quite lucky she put it as she did.

He'd have come off much worse if she said "He's been cheating with his multi-millionaire bosses daughter and has had to leave because she's pregnant" after all...
