Both always. Or a shower in the morning and a bath in the evening. I think I may have to stop this though.

BooksAndHooks · 23/08/2022 21:12

Bath before bed, wouldn’t have time in the morning.

Notplayingball · 23/08/2022 21:14

I don't think my message posted properly 🤦🏻

Antiperspirant deodorant is supposedly meant to be more effective if applied at night as you sweat less than during the day. The ducts are meant to be more receptive to the antiperspirant properties.

FabFitFifties · 23/08/2022 21:15

Morning every day. Also before bed on work days.

Topseyt123 · 23/08/2022 21:15

Morning. I have to feel clean and fresh to start the day.

I sometimes also shower in the evening if it has been a hot day, but will always shower again the next morning too.

TokidokiBarbie · 23/08/2022 21:20

I do always wake up better with a shower, but that's counteracted by the fact that 30 mins extra sleep is very appealing when you're getting up at 4/5am.

Showering before a shit is definitely a luxury nowadays.

TokidokiBarbie · 23/08/2022 21:21

O lord! The difference an 'f' can make. 🤦‍♀️

UnshakenNeedsStirring · 23/08/2022 21:23

Quick morning and evening showers. Have a bath at weekends if I have time

DramaAlpaca · 23/08/2022 21:25

Morning, always.

@TokidokiBarbie epic typo 😂

DuesToTheDirt · 23/08/2022 21:25

Usually after I've exercised (which might be morning, afternoon or whenever), or late afternoon after going to see my horse, even if I don't ride - they're filthy beasts!

Comefromaway · 23/08/2022 20:35

In the morning because I sweat overnight

Same here.

I have a quick morning one and a quick evening one, I assumed that’s what everybody did! Shock

Not many people have 2 showers a day.

Craftybodger · 23/08/2022 21:27

Morning, before work.

Evenings only if going somewhere special or at the end of the evening on very hot days.

I sleep better immediately after a shower but I need a shower before starting long days!

Rosesandstars · 23/08/2022 21:28

Twice a day.
The first in the morning or early afternoon so I feel either fresh if I wake up sweaty or clean if I've had to do some cleaning housework.
The second immediately before bed so I feel as though my sheets are kept clean each night.

JenniferWooley · 23/08/2022 21:29

I'm just out of the shower.

I shower at night if I need to wash my hair but either way I always have a body shower in the morning.

Chirmed · 23/08/2022 21:29

In the hot days morning and evening.
Winter time only evenings

Ramble0n · 23/08/2022 21:29

I do love a competitive showering thread.

Theoldwoman · 23/08/2022 21:30

Both.

Rosesandstars · 23/08/2022 21:30

Ramble0n · 23/08/2022 21:27

Not many people have 2 showers a day.

Something like 40% of people do.

ManateeFair · 23/08/2022 21:30

Whenever I feel like it, really. Usually first thing in the morning if I’m going to the office and then on other days just whenever I’ve been for a run; could be evening, could be lunchtime. I don’t really have routines for this sort of thing. My old boss once called me on a day off (which she shouldn’t have done anyway) while I was in the bath and when I called back and said ‘Sorry I didn’t pick up, I was in the bath’ she was openly disgusted at the very notion that I might have been in the bath at 2.30pm, as if it was the sign of a diseased mind.

Not many people have 2 showers a day.

I don't have the luxury of time each day to shower twice.

Ramble0n · 23/08/2022 21:36

No wonder there's a bloody drought with all these Mumsnetters showering 15 times a day.

Nextlevelnonsense · 23/08/2022 21:39

Cold shower, usually morning and night. Two or three minutes.
