Does anyone think there baby isn't cute

Does anyone out there actually think there baby isn't the cutest or good looking ? I don't have children but have always wondered this hope I don't offend anyone

Op every mnetter has a willowy, model like daughter and a 6 foot adonis of a son ;) every mnetter also miraculously looks 20 years younger than their age!

I think DD was a cute baby! We did get some comments. She seemed easily cuter than the other babies at the parent and baby groups for a few months, and then one day someone came who had a little girl that might have been cuter than mine. I was a little disappointed I liked having the cutest one! I'm sure all the other parents thought their own was cutest though

DS was a few weeks early, tiny and looked like a wrinkly bag of bones. He had huge eyes but the rest of him looked like a skinny little alien.

On the other hand DD was late, massively swollen, had what I thought were tiny raisin eyes (turned out to be swelling too) and for some reason was beetroot red. Her cheeks looked like they were on fire and then eventually peeled off after about a week. Strange!

I think all newborns are ugly until they hit about 6 months 😄

I would think our baby was beautiful if she looked like a baked potato, to be fair she maybe does look like one to other people 🤣

When my second son got to about three months I took some photos of him and I suddenly realised he looked just like Jasper Carrot! I didn't say anything, but when dh's friend saw him for the first time he actually asked us if we'd noticed the resemblance! 😂 he's absolutely beautiful (aged 8 now )with no likeness thank god!

My ds had weird red scaly skin and was extremely underweight and bald for the first few months. By school age he was actually genuinely really good looking!

When they lifted DD2 up it was like looking at my mother. A red faced, squawking version of my mother.
And DH said don't worry she'll grow into her face!
I wasn't worried, I looked exactly the same as a newborn.

DD1 looked like a generic, but cute, baby. DD2 was definitely mine, and I bonded instantly with her.

I hate to say this but DD was not the prettiest baby. She had a massive head (it seemed to me) and no hair.
I think it made me love her all the more.

One of my twins looked like Golam. He's drop dead gorgeous now but definitely not as a new born.

DS1 wasn’t a cute baby. In fact once an old lady came up to me in the shop and said “that’s a face only a mother could love” 😆I think it’s because he has a big head and it looked odd until he got hair. But people were always impressed by how advance his speech was (he was a very early talker) so I focused on this aspect of him. He just looks like you’re average little boy now and no one comments either way.

DS2 was a very cute baby. We always used to get people stopping to compliment his looks. He has very big, very blue eyes and golden curls. He’s very cherubic looking even now (aged 3) and old women love coming over to chat to him and tell him how cute he is. He isn’t so impressed by that and pulls faces at them 😆

My DD was 6 weeks premature and came out looking like a scrawny old man. I thought she was the most beautiful baby in the world and felt sorry for the other parents because their babies weren't as cute as mine. It was only looking back at her baby photos when she was about 2 that I realised 😂
