Vardy talking to the Sun

Am I hearing this right that Becky Vardy has done and interview with the sun paper pleading her innocence? Whoever is this ladies PR they need to be sacked. Why would she want anything to do with the papers after all the allegations. ? Surely if innocent you would stay away from talking to them. AIBU in thinking she must be not thinking straight to think doing a Sun article will clear her name.

I don’t know an awful lot about it, but I assume she needs to pay the legal bill somehow if her husband refuses. I can see a divorce on the horizon too.

Apparently being published tomorrow. By doing this interview she is not confirming her innocence but proving her guilt in having such a relationship with the paper.

I think she's a very unpleasant woman who likes to control the narrative. She's been shown up for what she is, first by Colleen in outing her, and now by the courts for ruling against her. So now she's turning on the crocodile tears to manipulate people into buying her narrative. Someone close to her needs to tell her in no uncertain terms to knock it on the head now before it costs her more £millions.

Got to grift somewhere to pay those court costs. At least by selling her story to the Sun, decent people won’t be subjected to her nonsense.

It beggars belief that she is still insisting that she dud nothing wrong when ALL the evidence showed that she was the only follower of CR’s Instagram that could see a (fake) story which then ended up in the paper. Her agent was also complicit. The statement made by CR which was the subject of the libel “It was Rebecca Vardy’s account” was demonstrably true

If she had accepted it three years ago it would have been old news now. Sadly she seems to be her own worse enemy.

It feels somewhat odd that Mrs Vardy thinks the first thing she needs to do to try and rehabilitate her reputation - ruined by being found guilty of selling stories to The Sun in an eviscerating judgement at the High Court of Justice - is to give an exclusive story to The Sun.

That'll convince everyone Rebekah.

She needs to just stop now and should not be allowed to do an interview, does she ever just stop and think and stop talking. She is an embarrassment to herself and to her family, god love her children. How is the paper allowed to publish this after she has been found guilty. What a chav and she says she has ptsd... Now there is also talks about it all being made into a netflix show, no one wants to hear anymore about it all. Has she nobody in her family that will tell her to just be quiet enough is enough.

It's pretty funny, I doubt The Sun would be paying her serious money, she just wants the publicity....still.

No idea what her deal is, though I have met a number of habitual liers that have somehow created their own reality.

I think it was the Sun she already had a relationship with and was leaking to in return for running stories about her

She's either lost the plot from the stress of it all and doesn't know what she's doing OR she's a habitual liar. I saw a clip late last night on some channel if this interview and she was all wide eyed denying everything when she wasn't crying. I'm thinking she's a habitual liar currently. My DH and I were incredulous she'd done the interview. I would have thought the best thing she could do right is keep her head down and say nothing about it in public any more.
