I can imagine being very frightened in this situation as a biological woman having to share a changing room with a man.

Many of the transsexual women I know of (online), refer to themselves as transsexuals and as male. They are quite clear in their desire to be set apart from non-binary males and transwomen.
They advocate for third spaces because they are uncomfortable in male only spaces but also recognise that women are equally uncomfortable if they are in female spaces. I’ve seen them receive horrible abuse from TRAs because they delegitimise TRA support of self-ID. They call them “truscum”
I’ll continue to refer to them as transsexual as that it what they prefer and the respect is reciprocated in their support for female only spaces.
Stonewall and Pride clearly want any distinctions between groups of people to magically disappear. But with that will go our legal protections.
Anyone can now identify as “queer”
Anyone can be a woman.
Anyone can be transgender.

None of these words have a definition anymore which means these once vulnerable groups, can no longer have distinct legal protections.

Yes it's interesting @Dontwanttoberudeorwastetime that The TRA idea that people can identify how they wish only seems to apply to some people. Why is it not ok to identify as transsexual in that case? Acceptance without exception my arse.

I’m betting because there is a very clear distinction (bottoms surgery) and in their mind it might create a scale where you can be more (or less) trans.

But unless we inspected people’s bottom areas how would people know apparently? It’s like no one can tell the difference between male and female apart from genitals. Although I admire their commitment to the ideology, they are still male and do not belong in female spaces. My time of being kind is well and truly over.

Well transwomen are women so women are Transwomen it all makes perfect sense! (Sarcasm if you couldn't tell)

It could make for some very interesting circular discussions though.

Can you imagine if we all identified as TW and went to TW groups and made them talk about periods, childbirth, the menopause and banned all talk of transitioning, penises, facial hair removal etc as it was ‘triggering’. Wonder how fast they’d suddenly want TW only spaces but found they couldn’t because I of the rules they themselves had made.

Toilets and changing facilities? Trans individuals must be supported to use all facilities designated for their acquired gender.
