Should not have been in the ladies changing room? Especially if naked from the waist down.

I can imagine being very frightened in this situation as a biological woman having to share a changing room with a man.

You might be surprised to hear that some people like to refer to evidence when they're forming their points of view and considering whether they are reasonable or not. Evidence is important

Would you apply your argument to race or sexuality?

There is plenty of evidence of women and children being attacked by males who claim to have gender identities. Why not look at the 'this never happens' thread?
The second any male steps foot in a female only space it becomes mixed sex which is proven to put females at greater risk of sexual assault.

Now ANY man can enter a female only space based on nothing but his feelings and if women dare question his motives THEY are the ones attacked or punished!

Can you offer any evidence to support the claims that transwomen are at greater risk using men's facilities? Where is the evidence of all the claimed danger? Where is the evidence that these males are at higher risk than women?

Why is it ok for women and girls who have been, and will be, attacked to just be seen as collateral damage to trans activists?

Race and sexuality are a false equivalence. But you already know that.

'Gender identity' is irrelevant to anyone but the individual. Their sex however is relevant to the spaces they access because humans can't change sex and we are legally allowed single sex provision which naturally excludes ALL males despite the nonsense Stonewall pushes.

The suicide stats are proven to be bullshit, and using them to tell women that we should be responsible for male people's mental health is nothing but emotional blackmail.

Where is the evidence you are referring to? I'm sorry but I'm talking about proper evidence, not a thread on mumsnet.

bellinisurge · 20/07/2022 13:24

Being disabled doesn't give you a free pass to have your dick on display in a women's single sex space

bellinisurge · 20/07/2022 13:26

Karen White. An institution facilitated a rapist accessing incarcerated women because that rapist said they were a woman.

Rainbowshit · 20/07/2022 13:26

@Discovereads people can make their own minds up. Its very revealing. Smile

Maybe you believe the Guardian over Mumsnet

Why not try the internet?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2022 13:32

Mumsnet threads have plenty of evidence. The reason people are directed to the This Never Happens thread is that it's all helpfully collected in one place. I'm sure there are lurkers who appreciate it, whatever prejudices the poster you were responding to has about Mumsnet, Whatsnewpussyhat.

It is not transphobic for women to want to feel safe. 1 in 5 women in the UK will be raped or suffer a serious sexual assault. To put it bluntly a penis is a weapon to many (and it is used as such). Women have every right to go to work and feel safe.

This is why a third space is necessary. I’m sorry if this conflicts with the narrative of you can identify with whatever you want. A person can’t identify their penis away.

Maybe we need to switch male and female facilities to Penises and vaginas.

It should be for me to seek out the sources of evidence others are using to justify their points of view!

*shouldn't.

JaneJeffer · 20/07/2022 13:41

Exactly

Masterblasterjammin · 20/07/2022 13:43

Where was it recognised that the claimant had memory problems as a result of their disability?
It was clearly stated that she had to use yellow paper, and that she had anxiety and depression. But I can’t see anything about memory?

bellinisurge · 20/07/2022 13:49

Gave you evidence @HackneyMum1 . Link to Guardian post. Is that not good enough to show you what bad actors will do to gain access to women in a vulnerable situation

Eightiesfan · 20/07/2022 13:50

TheKeatingFive · 20/07/2022 09:29

I see we have the common issue on this thread of posters screaming TRANSPHOBIC and then running away rather than engage in any informed debate.

It's a pathetic approach. If you actually feel that, come and make your points.

Well to be fair it is the summer holidays and they probably had to meet up with their mates on the XBox…

CrossStichQueen · 20/07/2022 13:51

No Disover it's you who is desperate.

The email I copied said at the beginning that the TW day off was authorised. The manager then went on to say she will be starting an investigation and asked what date the incident happened. So no the TW was not given time off while it was investigated as you said which is you implying that the TW was given time off for the whole investigation.

lifeturnsonadime · 20/07/2022 13:53

I mean all the arguing over whether a penis was actually seen or not is completely irrelevant.

Women should have the right to change in spaces free from all males. Especially at work.

The NHS is becoming a hostile environment for women.

  • Women can't be named, we are referred to by body parts in the main - birthing bodies being an example.
  • Women can be raped on NHS wards then be told it's impossible because there was no male on the ward.
  • Women who complain about the lack of single sex changing facilities are transphobic.
  • And there are rainbows everywhere to put women in their place.
Stonewall really has done a job on the NHS.
bellinisurge · 20/07/2022 13:55

They've finally agreed they need to teach medical students about women's healthcare. It's 2022. NHS has always been a hostile environment for women

lifeturnsonadime · 20/07/2022 13:56

How do they define 'women's healthcare'?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2022 13:57

Will it be amended to "uterus bearer" healthcare or similar? Seems awfully transphobic to call it women's healthcare when sex is a social construct which didn't exist in the past.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2022 14:01

It should be for me to seek out the sources of evidence others are using to justify their points of view!

If you go on the This Never Happens thread, as suggested, you can find many different sources of evidence! As I'm sure you would be able to find yourself either by googling or looking at threads in FWR if you genuinely wanted to know what women are talking about here.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 20/07/2022 14:04

Apologies, "It Will Never Happen" - there is a Facebook group called "This Never Happens" which does the same.

You can take the males out of the men’s facilities but you can take the entitled little prick out of the male.

I just heard them discussing this on WH today. One woman said of her NHS experiences “you can either have a vagina or a voice, you can’t have both”
I thought that was an excellent summing up of many things happening to women in the UK at the moment.
