A Queen's guard being given water. Can you imagine wearing a wool jacket & bearskin hat in this heat? This uniform needs rethinking for extreme heat.

While we're at it, the Monarchy needs rethinking. But yes...makes me feel hot just looking at it. I'm sure I'd pass out!

Yes it's ridiculous. I feel so sorry for police officers, fire fighters and medical staff in full PPE as well. It's 35 degrees here at the moment and pretty unbearable in a t-shirt and shorts!

I think the report of a BBC journalist who worked on the interview having a photograph (from the interview) in his possession that would have us all choking on our cornflakes has probably done the trick and got him sweating at last.
