FlibbertyGiblets · 12/07/2022 22:25

LibrariesGiveUsPower · 12/07/2022 22:26

Live and let live.

Iwantmyoldnameback · 12/07/2022 22:26

How many have you seen? I haven't seen any but I can't imagine being judgy about it.

CuriousCatfish · 12/07/2022 22:26

You sound snobby AF.

Itloggedmeoutagain · 12/07/2022 22:27

Why does it bother you

XenoBitch · 12/07/2022 22:27

YABU
Not your garden, so not your business.

bloodyunicorns · 12/07/2022 22:27

I'd hate for a neighbour to have one and to hold parties all the time, so yanbu

MichelleScarn · 12/07/2022 22:28

How does it affect you what other people do in their own garden?
Oh are you NIMBY?

I bet they don't. Hosting a good party takes more than just alcohol on tap.

aletterfromseneca · 12/07/2022 22:29

Don’t even know anyone with a garden large enough for one

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 12/07/2022 22:29

How many gardens do you ho into? They are not for me but neither a lot of others things.

maddy68 · 12/07/2022 22:29

So don't have one If you don't like them? Absolutely nothing to do with you what others have in their gardens

EatMyHammer · 12/07/2022 22:30

FlibbertyGiblets · 12/07/2022 22:25

Chav stands for council housed and violent. Used to be used to describe Vikki Pollard type people but I see it more commonly used to mean "common" and/or working class. I don't know what context OP was using it in though.

christmassausages · 12/07/2022 22:30

Sitting in mine right now so you can fothfsof 😜

Titsywoo · 12/07/2022 22:30

I don't care what other people do in their gardens but my neighbour has added one and a hot tub recently and they have form for holding parties with loud crappy music so I did groan internally!

crosbystillsandmash · 12/07/2022 22:31

I know a few people socially who have them.
They throw great parties and are lovely.

They would also never embarrass themselves and use the word chav.

Mybumlooksbig · 12/07/2022 22:31

I am a total snob, sorry.
I have v fun and wild parties without a bar.
Scrolled through Drainbook earlier and there seemed to be ALOT of people showing their home bars off , maybe I'm bitter because I'm sat drinking my white wine on the sofa.....

YABU and very judgey. What's it to you what other people choose do in their own gardens? The only issue I would have is the potential for noise disturbance. But you don't mention that, only that it's chavvy. You don't sound like the sort of person who would get invited to many parties anyway.

Nat6999 · 12/07/2022 22:32

Bars & hot tubs are really chavy.

Eylis · 12/07/2022 22:32

I bet your fun at garden parties

drpet49 · 12/07/2022 22:32

I agree tacky and cheap

QueSyrahSyrah · 12/07/2022 22:32

Not for me but I can't wait for the one my mates' DH is building in their (massive) garden to be finished Grin

TabithaTittlemouse · 12/07/2022 22:32

I’ve never seen one in real life. Maybe it says a lot about you as a person if you are seeing lots of them?

I really couldn’t care less about what others do as long as it isn’t affecting me.
