Just thought I'd better start a new thread for those of you who would like to see updates before the old one is totally full.

All still good here! I've been a bit low on iron but the tablets REALLY don't agree with me. So I've started just taking one in the morning with orange juice, and having a spoonful of Floridix in the afternoon and making an effort to eat spinach and red meat.
I've been feeling baby OMG moving around a lot more now he's getting bigger and stronger, which is lovely although slightly alarming at times!

We've probably got a maximum of 7 weeks to go now as I understand the drs are not keen for older mums to go much over 39 weeks. Eeeek.
Will keep you all posted.

Hope the induction has worked for you.
My sister had to be induced twice but ended up with emcs both times due to failure to progress. In the end though the babies were healthy and she recovered well so fingers crossed it won't be long now.

Also the tea and toast after is the best you'll have in your life. 🍞

He is here! Arrived about 4 hours ago, weighing just over 7lb.
I didn’t have to have an emergency caesarean in the end, but needed a little bit of help.
DH and I are totally besotted.

Oh congratulations! You're absolutely amazing and deserve so much happiness! Enjoy your beautiful little family and remember will be here if you need us when you're doing your midnight feeds 🥰
