Just thought I'd better start a new thread for those of you who would like to see updates before the old one is totally full.

All still good here! I've been a bit low on iron but the tablets REALLY don't agree with me. So I've started just taking one in the morning with orange juice, and having a spoonful of Floridix in the afternoon and making an effort to eat spinach and red meat.
I've been feeling baby OMG moving around a lot more now he's getting bigger and stronger, which is lovely although slightly alarming at times!

We've probably got a maximum of 7 weeks to go now as I understand the drs are not keen for older mums to go much over 39 weeks. Eeeek.
Will keep you all posted.

Thanks for starting the new thread - it’s been so lovely to read all of the updates.

Hope everything goes well for you over the next few weeks x

Lovely thread and huge congratulations! Best of luck will carry on following your journey x

Fantastic so happy for you 😀

RocketsMagnificent7 · 10/06/2022 17:11

Without question this is the best thread on Mumsnet.

Glad to hear baby OMG is growing well.

Wallabyone · 10/06/2022 17:13

I followed on the old thread-so pleased everything is going well!😍

Hiddenvoice · 10/06/2022 17:24

I’ve just read your old thread and I’m so happy for you.
I was on the iron tablets too and hated them! Just check though, once your little one is here they might ask you to stay on them for 6 weeks. I was hoping I’d seen the back of them once my baby arrived.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 10/06/2022 17:35

Glad to hear you and baby are growing well.. I used to watch feet and elbows move when I was having a bath!

Without question this is the best thread on Mumsnet.

Glad to hear baby OMG is growing well.

This! I even cried tears of joy for OP when I read her original thread at the time!

Glad all is going well!

girafferaffle · 10/06/2022 17:39

🥳🥺 your original thread was so lovely! Great news!

Irishfarmer · 10/06/2022 17:47

Glad you started a new thread. I didn't want to comment on your old one in case it ran out of space and you couldn't update us anymore.

I'm 33 weeks now and will prob be induced at 38/39 weeks so not long to go!! It's exciting and terrifying isn't it. I had a full on wave across my tummy a few days ago. It was so strange to watch but wonderful too.

I only have to take iron every 2nd day so thankfully not feeling side effects.

Have you baby clothes sorted yet? I am going down now to fold away the 0-3 month enormous mountain I have which have been washed 2 weeks and just sat on the bed.

COPPER3 · 10/06/2022 17:52

Bestest thread ever!!

Pipsquiggle · 10/06/2022 18:08

Glad the scan went well. I am hoping you are 'blooming' in this pregnancy. Not long to go

Doodledeedum · 10/06/2022 18:10

So glad I spotted this new thread! Love keeping up with it 🥰

BusMum79 · 10/06/2022 18:18

So pleased to read these updates: they never fail to make me smile. Sending you lots of good wishes!

nettie434 · 10/06/2022 18:20

Oh I remember your original thread. I am so pleased that everything is going well for you. Dried fruit like apricots and prunes are good sources of iron. Tinned sardines are brilliant but they are not to everyone's taste!

Lottle · 10/06/2022 18:24

Following! I remember the original thread and feeling so happy for you. Sorry this will have been asked but whatever happened about that original procedure you needed?!

Forestcantrun · 10/06/2022 18:24

I remember being absolutely delighted for you when you first posted in December so I'm very pleased to have found you again and hear all is well. This is such a lovely thread 😍

Cherrysoup · 10/06/2022 18:26

LittleBear21 · 10/06/2022 18:32

Yay! So glad for you and baby OMG and the new thread!

Looking forward to all the happy updates

Nottogetapenny · 10/06/2022 18:35

We are all here for you and wishing you, your baby and family well. I hope you don’t mind me saying, but in a way we all feel attached! Maybe it’s the way, you keep us informed but maybe it’s because you have made this thread so lovely. Take care, and enjoy your weekend. Xx

PaintingClocks · 10/06/2022 18:35

I’ve just read your first thread and it’s made me cry! Congratulations!!
