Perpop · 23/05/2022 22:34

About to have our wedding the following day without half of our immediate family and most of our friends!

IstayedForTheFeminism · 23/05/2022 22:35

Probably staying at home, saving lives and protecting the NHS.

ComtesseDeSpair · 23/05/2022 22:37

My calendar tells me we had six friends over for dinner. Which is probably correct, though I don’t remember specifically.

TeaAndChoccie · 23/05/2022 22:37

Hope the wedding went as well as could be Perpop

I was nowhere near Downing Street honest.

RogueBorg · 23/05/2022 22:39

I was in hospital, desperately ill, alone as no visitors allowed 😢🤬.

whenwillthemadnessend · 23/05/2022 22:39

Can't remember and nor do I care

cherrybonbons · 23/05/2022 22:40

Cancelled our anniversary plans and celebrated by doing nothing. Same as we had from March 2020

steff13 · 23/05/2022 22:40

My calendar says that I got my eyelashes filled in and then got a haircut.

TeaAndChoccie · 23/05/2022 22:40

RogueBorg - sorry to hear that :(

NoWordForFluffy · 23/05/2022 22:40

Nothing. We were in tier 3, so there was very little to do.

TeaAndChoccie · 23/05/2022 22:40

VainAbigail - 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This was near the time I saw my parents for the first time since Feb. We arranged to bump into each other outdoors, as they’d just been placed in a tier where we couldn’t even meet up in the garden. We nearly didn’t go, as this was breaking the rules. It felt like we were being all cloak and dagger, when it actually paled into insignificance compared to what our leaders were up to.

Grumpybutfunny · 23/05/2022 22:41

Had to cancel our sons party as the venue closed permanently due to BJ over the top restrictions

takingmytimeonmyride · 23/05/2022 22:43

Running a Zoom meeting for our Scout troop as we weren't allowed to meet.

I bloody hate Zoom now!

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 23/05/2022 22:44

Well DD was having an online brownie meeting. The Monday the 9th had been my dad's funeral where people had to sit in their bubble and we couldn't have a wake. He also died alone in a care home where he could only have one visitor through a window. Fuck boris

bloodywhitecat · 23/05/2022 22:47

Anxiously waiting for the next stage of DH's cancer treatment to start. Treatment that was delayed and he had to face alone while this whole shit show was going on.

Hbh17 · 23/05/2022 22:47

I have no idea, because it's not important, and I don't know anybody who cares in the slightest what the PM may have been doing. Such a tedious subject.....

FoxtrotSkarloey · 23/05/2022 22:49

Struggling with a 2.5 month old baby and hating the fact that when we went to MILs at weekends, all we could do was go for a walk around outside until we all got too cold and went home. The memory of my older DC, then just turned two miserably banging on the patio door and asking why we couldn't go inside because he was cold still breaks my heart. Plus the anger I now have knowing what short shrift those that made the rules paid to them.

MK19590 · 23/05/2022 22:49

It was my DS 5th birthday. We spent all day with his new train set in the lounge because we couldn't go out on any real trains (his favourite thing)

Thedogscollar · 23/05/2022 22:49

I was on a night shift on delivery suite. Probably running about like a loon. It also says in my diary no break.
So whilst that shit of a man was partying I was working 12.5 hrs without a break.

Many many others were far far far worse than me, dying alone no relatives allowed. All in the name of safety.

All whilst they partied on. If this is not a HUGE wake up call to his defenders then I give up a hope.

CorneliaStreet42 · 23/05/2022 22:49

According to my photos, I was feeling very nostalgic about life because I saved a load of old holiday photos onto my cloud that day.

1963andbewildered · 23/05/2022 22:50

I was working on a late shift and 3 of our residents died ….a bloody awful day seeing them literally being put in body bags and their heads covered in another bag …bloody shocking!!! Good that the PM was enjoying himself!!

coffeecupsandfairylights · 23/05/2022 22:52

According to my calendar, working as usual.

Thedogscollar · 23/05/2022 22:52

It is bloody important to the vast majority. You keep on defending him though. Obviously you weren't affected by Covid like others were.

Comments like yours are tedious and ignorant.
