My DP insists on putting chocolate in the fridge, I think I need to LTB (light hearted)

My DP is lovely in every way however continues to put chocolate in the fridge which is all kinds of wrong to my thinking and palette... WIBU to LTB?

I hate soft melted chocolate so all of mine goes in the fridge.

My DH does this.
It’s not right!

I buy him separate chocolate so that he can put his in the fridge all gross and cold and I can have mine how it should be.

I have started doing this. I take it out about 10-15 mins before I aim to eat it. It is superior chocolate 😁

I used to work for a small chocolatier when I was younger, refrigerating chocolate is like blasphemy. It should be kept somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight, like in a cupboard. You shouldn't have to chew chocolate it should melt on your tongue!

DH does this, we have our own chocolate now. I like mine just about melted, will put it in my pocket for a few minutes before I eat it to get it a bit melty.

New build, small house, Air source heat pump system, OTT insulation. Our kitchen catches the sun ALL DAY too.

There is a reason why the chocolate is not refrigerated in the shop. Cold chocolate is less flavoursome than room temperatured chocolate. Real chocolate lovers would not put their chocolate in the fridge, so OP you are right.
