Hiya all. Like many I spend far too much time on MN - and even pay £4.99 a month for premium. The replatform disaster, followed by the rubbish handling, plus the no paragraphs and increasingly bizarre deletions / moderating has given me the kick I need to take a hiatus.
Anyone else at the end of their tether?

The formatting is a pain. The quotation function doesn't work as it should, and posts keep getting cut halfway!

When you have finished a 'paragraph' @EinsteinaGogo just press the 'enter' key (sometimes called the 'return' key,) on the right hand side of the keyboard, sort of in the middle... Have you tried that? Press it when you finish a paragraph and then press it again. VOILA! Paragraphs!

I have paragraphs. I don't have capital letters at the start of each line.
I don't like the constant refreshing, they keep saying they will fix it but don't. That is ruining the user experience for me. I'm still on mumsnet out of habit rather than enjoyment.

I have paragraphs on Safari, but not on my iPad app. Everything I type comes out as one solid wall of text. And I know how to create paragraphs! Everyone else's posts appear as a solid block of text too. Really annoying.

The paragraph thing seems to be just for the person who posted the post. The rest of us see the post as it was intended.

The problem, I think, is that some people don't and that seems to be contingent on which operating system/device they are using.

My issue is the length of time it is taking to sort out the innumerable issues post brand new shiny update and the fact that many items listed on the special thread are still saying they will be sorted out ASAP and haven't been it's a very poor show.

I'm also very vexed by the replies to quotes being on the same line as the end of the quote. Makes it very difficult to scan and I end up giving up.
