Hiya all. Like many I spend far too much time on MN - and even pay £4.99 a month for premium. The replatform disaster, followed by the rubbish handling, plus the no paragraphs and increasingly bizarre deletions / moderating has given me the kick I need to take a hiatus.
Anyone else at the end of their tether?

I can only assume most premium subscribers have cancelled. I'm frustrated enough with the free version.

Yet again, either MN have been completely ripped off by their tech suppliers, or they didn't invest properly in the first place. I suspect it's the second, and that is always the second.

I don’t use the app I go through the search engine and have no problems with paragraphs or capital letters etc.

My problem with the new MN is the "we require your consent" that comes up when you click on every post and even on every page within a post. Drives me mad. Agree with PP about the end of sentences being chopped off if someone quotes someone. It's a poor show.

I have paragraphs on my laptop but not on my iphone, I also have the issue of quoted posts having the end cut off on both devices, and I'm also getting frustrated with the fact that if a post already has a quote in it, you can't quote that on iphone, but can on laptop...

Paragraphs and quotes still not working on the app. I've reinstalled and still not working.

It’s really boring now having to search for other topics though.
Before you could see every topic plus most of the sections a topic contained all on one page.
Why would anyone try and look up a 90 days thread or Royal family topic without seeing they existed first.

I'm on the app and there are no paragraphs, there's not a gap between a quote and the response, and posts are getting chopped off at the end.

Yes, I've lost paragraphs too. I have just written quite a long post of 3 or 4 paragraphs.

It has come out as one solid block of text.

Oh I am sorry @EinsteinaGogo , I take it back. I wonder why some apps / devices work and others don't.

They work for me , Android, Samsung a12
And laptop windows 10.

I don't know if it makes any different I don't use them MN app either I just use Google search each time.

Those of you that are having problems with paragraphs do you all use the app ?

You know there's a Flouncers' Corner section for people who wish to announce their departure instead of just stopping using the site? Why not pop over there?

Sooooo... is it just on iphone then? I post on android AND windows edge and windows chrome, and I see paragraphs OK.

All of both these posts! I wrote a single grumpy 'I remember when the 1's and 0's first appeared in the void, and we had to work our arses off just to get folk to look at a screen or wiggle a mouse' - and then I gave up. So much less achieved with vastly more capacity.

Hi @EinsteinaGogo we're sorry to hear you want to take a hiatus from us - we'd much prefer it if you stick around but we understand that you're v frustrated by the bugs since re-platforming. The things that were annoying you (and everyone else) are in the process of being fixed, btw, if that changes anything...😬

As for our moderation - if you think we've done something bizarre or have otherwise lost the plot, we'd encourage you to let us know.

You keep saying this @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet but the last update on the page of issues is 6th May, can you not give some more definitive time line than ASAP?

My MN app updated on my iPhone 2 days ago. The update took an hour(!) ... but that might just be my relic of a phone. And now I have lost paragraphs. No matter how carefully I format my writing, all I can post is a wall of text. I'm the sort of person that skims past text walls myself... I'm sure a lot of us do. So now I'm fairly certain everything I post is just screaming into the void. Who said that?
