Sandhurst

Just returned from a short break in Sandhurst,. We travelled around whilst we were there (Farnborough, Wokingham, Aldershot etc) and are so impressed how green the area is with wooded areas,.nature walks and trees everywhere. The towns are well presented and there are a lot of outdoor activities to choose from.
It is bank holiday weekend but none of the activities were crowded. We would definitely choose this area for a holiday again AIBU

I grew up in one of the towns you mentioned and know them all well. Really not sure why anyone would want to go there for a holiday.

Seriously? I've lived in the area and have family there. No way is it a nice holiday destination.

The ginormous tesco and m&s are definitely worth a visit culturally. Spent many an evening there deciding what to eat.

I live in one of the towns you mention and grew up in Sandhurst and can't think of a weirder holiday, but glad you enjoyed it!

I went into Farnborough today to go shopping (Asda and Sports Direct) and couldn't believe how busy it was. Now I know why, it's been outed as a holiday destination.

I live in one of those towns. Moved here from an expensive part of Surrey. Definitely, more house and garden for the money. But other than that. It's all a bit dire. Work, shop and play out of the area. Only live here because it's cost effective.

I'd never ever think do this area as a holiday area. But, will agree there are a lot of good walks and nature reserves.

Lmao I holiday down there.. but to see my family.. I moved up north .. but Aldershite I'd never list as a holiday destination lol.. Farnham is noice though

I grew up in that area. Have never heard of anyone going there for a holiday!

Maybe the activities were not crowded because no one visits these areas for a holiday
