To wonder what happened overnight?

The formatting has all changed, making it really hard to read. Is it just me?

There’s a thread in Site Stuff. There was a relaunch type thing

No mine has changed too. I preferred the date and time in the top right corner of a post but I'm sure I'll get use to it.

They did a platform move overnight. Get used to it!

I'm hoping that it's temporary, or I'll be on here a lot less, which might be a good thing.

Same. Had to log back in, the formatting is all strange and it's not showing when I've clicked on a thread (it used to change colour on the thread title).

I bet a teacher designed it..😂

Struggle with change anyway but it seems very clunky in appearance, the text of posts is too large and I don't want to reread the original post each time I 'turn a page'. It all looks a bit old hat tbh.

I'm expecting to see a place for a gold star if I've done well & a space for red comments on improvement😆

I'll hate it for a day, and then forget the change happened 😏Maybe it'll be more reliable for people uploading important car parking diagrams.

I think it looks better, apart from that the thread title doesn't change colour once I've read it. This is annoying.

Just realised this. Also, our own posts are green, the same as an OP's. Not keen on either of these.

Facebook changed overnight too!

It looks better on my phone than the old version and it seems to post faster, without an annoying delay that kept happening.
However, I don't like having to work out the date (I miss 'today') and which threads I have already clicked on, or reading the OP on every page.

You can change the colour of your posts in your settings. I had to go back and change mine back to how I had them before.

I'm not keen at all. Again I'm sure I'll get used to it but I'll be honest - they need to bring back the threads turning purple once you've previously clicked on it. That's a must! The layout just doesn't flow but we shall see.

And why is the op's opening thread not in a bold colour anymore? Harder to read in my opinion.

@Coldnoseandtoes you can that in talk settings and choose which colour for OP posts and which for your own.

I've suddenly got lots of advertising pop-ups, literally every few posts. I never get ads normally!? Will head over to site stuff and read on there.

I've just restarted my phone thinking it had gone weird!

I really don't like the new format. I am hoping that it might make the site easier to read for people with sight difficulties or dyslexia. At least that might make it worth it.

YABU because this was announced ahead of time in the banner ad area by MNHQ and there is an active thread in Site Stuff.

But I agree it looks disappointing and rubbish!

It won’t, because it’s actively worse - apparently MN do not care to meet WCAG guidelines.

If anyone from MN is reading, you should learn about colour contrast for starters.
