The formatting has all changed, making it really hard to read. Is it just me?

Yes, this is most annoying for me too. I guess, as others have said, it's to make it look better on a phone. However, if on a phone or iPad surely it's easier to use the app instead?

The auto correct on my phone is a bit dodgy now - I have to be careful about capitalisations and punctuation now! 😪

When I go back to active by pressing back on the browser not clicking active it refreshes now 😭. Used to be able to just go back if there were multiple interesting threads and now I can't bloody find them because it auto refreshes. The rest I can't take or leave but that bugs me a lot!

Ok! I worked that out… maybe I’ll with it a little longer. I do like the little texty formatting box I guess. That definitely makes it a little easier for an old fossil like me some.

I like how I can now use the bookmark function on the mobile browser. It keeps logging me out though.

I would like the posts in active to go bold once you've read them, that would make it easier.

There is no link to the board I’m on at the bottom of the page so I have to scroll all the way back to the top to click on it. I also miss the last and first page buttons.

It highlights threads I've read again. 🤗

Do you mean the whole thread on one page? Click on the arrow in the circle on the right-hand side of the screen, just above where the first post appears. Click on customise and it should allow you select number of posts per page or all.

I'm on a tablet so hope this works on a desktop.

Not sure I like it. A bit big and now I've had to change my user name. Guess we'll have to get on with it. It's not gonna change back as prob cost loads to change it!
Prob won't be on here as much though so can't be a bad thing.

Extremely annoying! Just spent a good ten mins typing a post on my phone over sleeping ill baby on a different thread only to get a big black box over labelled Mumsnet Oops, preventing me from typing anything further!!! So irritating.

I think the new layout is better, easier on the eye.

However, the width of the forum now only takes up around one-thirds of my screen, so that it's narrower. It's like looking at an old HTML4 site from the late 1990s that hasn't been tweaked for wider displays such as 1920x1080.

The width of a web page should ideally be scaled accordingly to the screen resolution of the device that it is being displayed on.

Are the vast empty spaces on my laptop screen supposed to be populated with adverts? Is this a future joy to come I wonder.
