The formatting has all changed, making it really hard to read. Is it just me?

It's like
reading a
baby book
with too
little text
per line and
having to
constantly
track down
and scroll to
get through
a sentence.

Maybe this will finally detox me of my unhealthy MN habits...

It's awful, for all the reasons eveyone else has already stated.

And they've gone to all this effort but still no option to edit posts!

I'm still here because of a particular long running thread I use, but honestly Mumsnet forum has been so user unfriendly for years and every time they decide to 'upgrade' it they just make it worse and never fix the issues we have raised for the last 15 years or so!

I was up with unwell teen and had nothing to scroll. This morning I don’t want to scroll… it’s like we have gone back a decade.

I'm on the mobile view, it's so much better from my perspective. Maybe it's not as good on desktop?

The new design is awful. Especially the vote buttons

Yeah. I don't really care about the change or the new look but the wasted space is annoying. Seems like it was built for mobile with no thought to desktop users?

The fact that there is no edit button still means there will never be one. Every other forum manages. It's so annoying. But easier font changes and all posts on one page - good.

Hi we purposely decided not to change too much with the re-platforming. But now we've done it (once we've fixed the glitches) it should be much easier to add new features and edit is on the list.

I should highlight the threads I've read.

It's so bad, I can't even scroll through the pages or read all ops responses to find out if my points have already been made, but...
Can't see the last page button to skip to it(useful for lurking when you are not respondingc.
Can't scroll back up text to check or copy text as not very many posts on one page.
No quote poster function .
Seems reluctant to let me paragraph and slow(hence the typos)

Honest to good it's so bad it looks like I designed it! That's not a compliment.

I'm sure it looks fine and dandy if you have a state of the art phone, but as someone who can only afford a cheap android I find that a bit off.

Also the return key doesn't work properly. If you don't put a full stop or space at end of a line of text then the cursor doesn't move down

Hey, quotes are easier - that's really good.

I know you’ve had an answer already but I just wanted to let you know that (on an iPhone at least) you can tap the time at the top of the screen to go back to the top of any web page 🙂

I really don't like it. The bold font is really harsh.
The large gaps between posts are too big and make reading quickly difficult.

Please, reduce the amount of white space back to what it was before. Everything is horribly spread out now and needs too much scrolling. Because there's so little on a page it's harder to keep track of where you are in the text as you scroll.
