To be annoyed my FB ‘friend’ is cheating at Wordle

Just that really. Everyone gets the word in 4, 5, 6 tries, 3 on a good day, 2 once in a blue moon. Everyone except for one ‘friend’ who gets it in 2 tries nearly every day. How is that even possible? Go ahead, tell me to get a life.

Incognito browsing. I saw someone doing that on fesshole.

Yes she is cheating but she's only cheating herself.

If I had used my usual starting word on todays I'd have got it in 2.

I found when I was sharing onto what's app you can edit the grid so can remove lines and change the 4/6 to whatever you want.
I'm not saying your friend is doing that but it can be done

You can do it on one device, find out what the word is and then start again on a different device (I found this out by mistake). I have a friend who is always posting her son's score and he gets it in 2 most days so I assume he's cheating and she doesn't realise. Sad really.

Why spend the energy on cheating, it's just a fun guessing game.

I don't cheat, but love word games! I make tactical guesses and play another app that's similar, I genuinely don't think getting it in 4-6 goes is unlikely?

How pointless, nobody else really cares and the fun is in playing the game, how ridiculous

There's a list of all the words from the start until far in the future. Someone sent it to me and I looked once to see if it was correct. It was. Now I don't look because I like to play and see if I can get it. I usually get it in 4, occasionally 3. Today it took me all 6 lines to get it.

There are sites that will give you the answer. Apparently you can view the code and see the words for the next couple of years or so

All you need to do to cheat is clear your history and then go back and do it again

I've got it in 2 three times (out of 49, which makes it around 6%)
It's definitely luck at that point. Having a starting word that leads you onto it, plus lucky guess. So eg. if my starting word is "slide" finding l i d e are all correct but wrong place and guessing "ideal", when it could equally well be something like "field".

However my most common is getting it in 4.

I don't post it though.

However I do find the hard mathler often quite easy and have got it in 2 nearly 20% of the time. I think actually adding more operations actually makes it a bit easier.

2 involves no skill and lots of luck (or cheating); 3 is the lowest number involving any thought/skill!

Well... she is only cheating herself, so what's the point? I would leave her to it.

I like both Facebook and Wordle but YAB a bit U to let anything to do with either of them get to you so much, especially when it's only a bit of fun and not some kind of serious relationship issue or similar.

I used to be annoyed seeing all the Wordle results on FB.

Then I got addicted and do it every morning, set my alarm early so I can have a coffee in bed and Wordle, worldle, Quordle & octordle
