To ask if you wash your bed linen every time you have sex?

I tend towards slatternity so I didn't realise this was A Thing

Luckily it's only high days and holidays nowadays, so it's not as though Id be ploughing through the Bold on Bed sheets.

It's this another MN requirement where I come up wanting?

YABU: wash em straight away you grim creature.

YANBU: Meh, wash Em on the normal processing time, no need to rush.

I am very old but one of my earliest memories is of getting into bed with my parents. There was a smell sometimes that I now realise was of post sex. It didn’t worry me then. I don’t think it had any effect. I think some people today are affected by the ceaseless barrage of firms selling detergent. I doubt it has made life any better. It’s interesting to see how rarely most have sex.

Not having much sex atm. 29 weeks pregnant and very sore. But, I usually change my sheets fortnightly, and if we've had sex a couple of times, that week it would be done weekly. If we've just changed sheets and we're freshly washed and feel in the mood, we'll put a towel down to save extra washing.

We change the sheets regularly, every Easter, whether they need it or not.

Happily this pretty much coincides with sex.

So, yes, we do.

@MrsReeves those towels could well sell out but imagine giving it as a gift and the person saying oh that isn't nearly big enough, wonder if they do them bath size?

I do not have time to wash and change the bedsheets every single time and it would destroy the bedsheets pretty quickly washing them that frequently. I'll give things a spot clean and a spray with Dettol upholstery antibac but for us, it's a weekly change of sheets.
