To ask if you wash your bed linen every time you have sex?

I tend towards slatternity so I didn't realise this was A Thing

Luckily it's only high days and holidays nowadays, so it's not as though Id be ploughing through the Bold on Bed sheets.

It's this another MN requirement where I come up wanting?

YABU: wash em straight away you grim creature.

YANBU: Meh, wash Em on the normal processing time, no need to rush.

Yes I think it varies depending on the couple (and even within the couple).

When I was living with an ex a long time ago some friends of his came to stay for one night. They left really early the next day without saying goodbye. We were a bit surprised and thought it quite rude. But when we went to change the bedding we found they’d left a wet patch in the middle of the bed about 4ish inches across. We realised they must have been embarrassed and left.

Moral of the thread: some couples make a wet patch, others don’t!

Dispose of the bedding after every touch.

Definitely changed the sheets every time as we use a lot of baby oil. Also, there's always a wet patch after i climb off dh, it just sort of slips out before I have chance to get a tissue 🤷‍♀️

I wash our bedding and the children's bedding once a week. I don't have time to wash it every time we have sex, some weeks that can be daily. Who actually has the time to wash their bedding daily,plus the waste of water and electricity is ridiculous! Put a towel down to protect the bed (if ur not too caught up in the moment 🤣).

Sorry but i think you do. Either that or buy a carpet and upholstery cleaner and fully clean it straight after sex every single time, never leave it until the next day (even if you're both tired) as that would not be good enough 🤣🤣

God no, do the deed on his side and then he deals with any spillage . My bedding is every two weeks (which I am sure will utterly horrify done).

Bloody hell, I’m 63. I’ve been married 3 times and lived with a 4th guy and I have 3 (now very adult) kids. I’ve never done this. I didn’t even know it was a thing! What kind of harm do people think might have befallen us? 🤷‍♀️
