I tend towards slatternity so I didn't realise this was A Thing Shock

Luckily it's only high days and holidays nowadays, so it's not as though Id be ploughing through the Bold on Bed sheets. Wink

It's this another MN requirement where I come up wanting?

YABU: wash em straight away you grim creature.

YANBU: Meh, wash Em on the normal processing time, no need to rush.

A couple that hasn’t had sex for (at least?) 3 months isn’t normal

Yes it is. We went from March 2020 until January 2021 without it. Sex was the last thing I felt like doing then. Having to deal with the deaths of both parents, the loss of a job and very nearly losing the family home all within the space of 9 months kills the urge really.

Looubylou · 23/02/2022 15:17

These people who claim to have no mess, where does it all go then? I find that fascinating.

WorkHardPlayHard1 · 23/02/2022 15:17

@CheesePlantMurderer

No way. We have sex several times a day when partner is home - works away - altho no children to climb in. I don't wash the sofa covers either but I do disinfect the dining table 😂😉
Omg 🤣🤣🤣
hellithurt · 23/02/2022 15:18
@hellithurt 🤣 Darked on too!!
OMG I cannot even think about that!

RampantIvy · 23/02/2022 15:20

Why can't those who "spill" not take some tissues to mop up any leakage before it gets spilled out? No need for a towel then.

The lack of common sense here is rather alarming.

TimBoothseyes · 23/02/2022 15:24

Forgot to add... there is no spillage on our sheets because we use condoms so no need to wash the sheets after, just wait until the "normal" washing-the-sheets day.

deeplyrooted · 23/02/2022 15:25

I’m usually passed out from all the orgasms. I’ll have to ask dh.

Babyvenusplant · 23/02/2022 15:27

Depends what kind of sex you're having a guess

Cas112 · 23/02/2022 15:32

Nope

positivevibesonly22 · 23/02/2022 15:33

@EBearhug 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Robot Hoover. Special sex attachment.
positivevibesonly22 · 23/02/2022 15:39

God. Lots of people go to lots of laundry effort. I put my pants on and DH gives it a wiggle in his penis beaker.

KneadingKitty · 23/02/2022 15:40

Yes, but since it's been over 3 years it's not a bother Grin

@positivevibesonly22

Grin that was the original plot for Fifty Shades right there!

positivevibesonly22 · 23/02/2022 15:56

@jamandmarmaladeoncrumpets 🤣🤣🤣 for sure. Nowt as sexy.

Cas112 · 23/02/2022 15:56

@GeneLovesJezebel

No, just make sure the wet patch is on his side.
HAHAHAHAHA THIS!!
DoleWhipFloat · 23/02/2022 16:05

Nope. DH and I have sex around 2-3 times a week and we wash the bedding each weekend. I’ve never thought to wash the bedding after sex. But then, we don’t generally have sex under the covers either. Or even on the bed every time…

Benjispruce5 · 23/02/2022 16:11

No. People who do obvs don’t do it often. So bad for the environment and my time!

Vaxhubsandwich · 23/02/2022 16:14

No, we have sex a lot, never considered this a thing!

Benjispruce5 · 23/02/2022 16:15

You can avoid wet sheets!

TheDoveFromAboveCooCoo · 23/02/2022 16:15

@daisyjgrey

This is MN, someone will be along in a minute to say that they put a strip the bed, put a special mattress protector and designated bedding on, do the deed and then strip it all off and put a fresh one on, every time. And anything less is the epitome of "grim".
Don't forget the pre sex and post sex showers
Benjispruce5 · 23/02/2022 16:17

@Looubylou have you heard of tissues?

SecondhandTable · 23/02/2022 16:20

Not necessarily, but if I can see any er any spillages then I will...

Scbchl · 23/02/2022 16:27

@Benjispruce5 have you heard of squirting? How do you want to position a tissue to stop that. Ffs some of these comments acting stupid and not knowing how wet patches come to be because you never had one.

veevee04 · 23/02/2022 16:28

No but I'm on top mostly anyway
