Did anyone really think he would be?

He can’t even get his hair in order let alone a country.

Not that I’m a fan of hers but come on, he’s got his own mind (and being governed by your dick is still a conscious choice as an adult man).

Who has said this?

I don't think much of Carrie but Boris is clearly responsible for his own failings. I haven't heard anyone suggest otherwise. Confused

IKeptYouLikeAnOath · 05/02/2022 23:00

Yeah I just saw that story and thought, this is how desperate they're becoming to demonstrate that it's not his fault.

Of course it's his fucking fault, he's been a self-serving sociopath since his school days. She's

AlexaShutUp · 05/02/2022 23:07

What is the story?

Hospedia · 05/02/2022 23:08

Poor little lamb. First he gets ambushed by cake, then he attends a stealth party without realising it was a party, and now it turns out he's somehow accidentally married Lady Macbeth.

MaryAndHerNet · 05/02/2022 23:09

She has his balls on her purse, that's basically the story.
How true it is? Who knows.
But her friends seem to get good jobs very easily.

AdoptedBumpkin · 05/02/2022 23:10

He'd perhaps be worse if he was single.

Blueberryflavour · 05/02/2022 23:12

Obviously nothing can be a man’s fault, got to find the nearest person with a vagina to blame.
It’s a tale as old as time.

ThinWomansBrain · 05/02/2022 23:12

she might not be helping - but I think being a twat is one thing he is actually quite good at - all by himself.

HariboMuncher · 05/02/2022 23:13

He will blame her for the fuckups and move on to whoever he's shagging on the side right now. She will write a book or sell her story about how wronged she was. The kids involved will barely see him again.

Hospedia · 05/02/2022 23:15

What is the story?

A book by a Tory peer alleges that Carrie is the puppetmaster in the Johnson household. He is lonely and mesmerised by her while she's a controlling witch who is making him miserable. He's begged aides to run interference so that he can get five minutes peace from her. She uses his phone to send work messages in his name. Basically they're lining her up to take the blame for the current shitshow.

SarahBellam · 05/02/2022 23:15

Quite right, OP. We need to STOP. BLAMING. WOMEN. FOR. SHITTY. MEN.

We know these men are fecking eejits. But the buck stops with them. If they’re fucking up their lives it’s because of their choices, their behaviours, their attitudes.

Oldtiredfedup · 05/02/2022 23:15

It’s always a woman’s fault

TiffanyAchingsHatFullofSky · 05/02/2022 23:16

This is just Daily Mail, woman hating pap.

Of course they will try and blame her. Because they are wankers.

RufustheFloralmissingreindeer · 05/02/2022 23:17

Its pissing me right off, I’ve no patience with it

The fact that he’s led by his penis is his problem (or more truthfully it appears to be our problem)

SpinningTheSeedsOfLove · 05/02/2022 23:17

Maybe wee Romy put a curse on him or something.

TheMooch · 05/02/2022 23:18

Oh yeah blame Carrie. IMO he was a tosser before he dated her.

Itsalmostanaccessory · 05/02/2022 23:19

I think, in the case, they can both be shit.

All his stuff is his fault. Not hers.
But I kind of believe that she would use his phone and pretend to be him to get things she wanted. And her friends have been walking into great places since she got with him.

She isnt responsible for his trappings. But she may also he crappy herself.

amnm · 05/02/2022 23:20

Even if Carrie is as evil as everyone says (which, to be fair, she probably is), it's still 100% Boris's fault for letting her have that much influence over him. He is the PM, it's his responsibility to govern the country properly and this includes telling his wife that she's not an elected representative and therefore needs to butt out of trying to influence how Downing street is run. If he's not capable of stopping someone else from having so mucn influence over affairs, he shouldn't be PM.

longwayoff · 05/02/2022 23:23

One day, Bozo, the women you have wronged will seek vengeance. There's a bit of a queue already so, Carrie, please stand at the back for your turn. Could be a longish wait.

PerkingFaintly · 05/02/2022 23:26

Meh.

Johnson is a vacant shell of a human being, ever in search of a puppetmaster to shove their hand up his arse and fill his inner void.

Couple of years ago it was Cummings. Now it's Carrie. Cummings hates Carrie for usurping him as puppeteer.

So nothing here is new or surprising.

The story has now veered into a specific genre, "woman always to blame for man's actions". But fundamentally it remains "human husk recruits new animator".

TulipsGarden · 05/02/2022 23:27

He's been a lying shit since she was a child.

Mumoftwoinprimary · 05/02/2022 23:27

They’ve only been together since 2018. What is his excuse in 2017?

AlexaShutUp · 05/02/2022 23:29

Thank you for the summary.

Sounds like pure misogyny to me. Not surprising from a Tory peer, I suppose.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if she sticks her oar in where it doesn't belong, but the PM is the problem here. It is ridiculous to blame his wife for failings that are clearly his own.

boireannach · 05/02/2022 23:34

I think they’re both chavvy, entitled and immoral, vacuous fools.

RoyKentsChestHair · 05/02/2022 23:38

Has he ever considered changing the password on his phone so that she can’t send messages from it? Pretty basic security for anyone with a work phone I’d have thought Confused
