I'm not a fan of Carrie in the slightest and I think she probably does have more influence than past PM wives. But it's clear, to me anyway, she will be made a scapegoat now for 'cheeky & silly' loathsome Boris. She's an intelligent woman though so I can't see her taking the scapegoat role lying down.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if he thought that was a perfectly normal price for wallpaper. He's that out of touch with the reality of life for the vast majority of people.
