What the title says.

This will be the one where he resigns, so if please keep the whatabout to a minimum.

@longwayoff

Oh I'm so pleased. The reams of faux outrage about Keir's beer, all for nothing 🍻
Oooh I don't know, there is still that bottle in the window.....
Blossomtoes · 04/02/2022 21:31

@Notonthestairs

Didn't some people argue he only popped in for 10 mins because he was off to an important meeting (with his decorator).

Beer before a meeting? How very late 1980's.

And it was just colleagues - a work meeting really.

I thought it was Big Doggie in the window?

Found you all! Need to catch up with what has been going on today.

Lewis Goodall
If you go on No 10 Flickr page you can see the No 10 photographer Andy Parsons was in Downing St on several of the major partygate dates- because he was taking official pics

Eg the birthday party date he'd been with PM in the morning at Bovington School

That's not to say of course he was necessarily at any of the parties but it does lend credence to the idea there may be more photographs of some of the key events, which are now apparently being retained by Sue Gray

Telegraph reporting ex Minister Nick Gibb has put in his letter.

cakeorwine · 04/02/2022 21:48

It would be too much to hope that the official photographer had accidentally uploaded official photographs of any photographs to Flickr.

DuncinToffee · 04/02/2022 21:49

@Notonthestairs

Telegraph reporting ex Minister Nick Gibb has put in his letter.
Quoting that “I am sorry to say that it is hard to see how it can be the case that the Prime Minister told the truth”
Blossomtoes · 04/02/2022 21:50

@Notonthestairs

Telegraph reporting ex Minister Nick Gibb has put in his letter.
To restore trust, we need to change the Prime Minister

I guess that would be a start. He’s deluded if he thinks it would be enough.

TokyoSushi · 04/02/2022 21:55

Looks like this is going to keep going through the weekend. I bet Pippa Crerar has/has seen that photo.

I wonder if anything will happen with the Sunday papers?

thecatfromjapan · 04/02/2022 21:56

I think we need to all just pause for a moment to spare a thought for those writing for the weekend papers tonight.

thecatfromjapan · 04/02/2022 21:59

I mean, it's almost 10 o'clock. Surely no more tonight?

Notonthestairs · 04/02/2022 22:06

Certainly made me think Tim Walker was right.

"My assumption is if people are fleeing Johnson like this there is even more serious criminal activity that’s about to be uncovered."

Yes the Saturday papers will be behind before they go to print!

TokyoSushi · 04/02/2022 22:07

They seem to finish for the day about 10pm, then the next day dawns full of hope and optimism, and turns to shit by about 9am, earlier if it's weekday and a minister is on the news rounds. Saturday at 10pm is always a good time for something really interesting to happen...

TokyoSushi · 04/02/2022 22:09

Yes agree @Notonthestairs now it's gone to a police investigation, folk do seem to be rather more keen to get as far away from Johnson as possible.

thecatfromjapan · 04/02/2022 22:12

😂 @TokyoSushi

DuncinToffee · 04/02/2022 22:15

On #BBCBreakfast on Saturday…

  • Culture Secretary @NadineDorries at 7.30am
  • Shadow Culture Secretary @LucyMPowell at 7.10am
TokyoSushi · 04/02/2022 22:17

Oh jeez, Nadine is on media in the morning 🤦🏼‍♀️

TokyoSushi · 04/02/2022 22:17

That's twice today @DuncinToffee we've posted the same thing at the same time! Grin

thecatfromjapan · 04/02/2022 22:20

Nadine on the Breakfast round.

Hilarious!!!

This just gets better and better!!!

thecatfromjapan · 04/02/2022 22:22

As someone else safely commented, Nadine rocks up and delivers with the tenacious - yet batshit - loyalty of someone who knows with certainty no other administration will find her a role.

DuncinToffee · 04/02/2022 22:23

It happens, I did the same with Notonthestairs yesterday Smile

This should be good
thecatfromjapan · 04/02/2022 22:23

Sagely. Sagely, autocorrect. Sagely.

It's a herb.

Blossomtoes · 04/02/2022 22:27

They’re sending Dorries out again after her performance earlier this week? Is Peter Bone busy?
