One person thinks the answer is 165 and the other thinks 67, who is right?

I thought it was 38

3+4+(4x15)= 67

I got 29 😂

Except the shape in the last sum isn't exactly the same as in the first but I assume that's a mistake?

Oh I just added and didn't multiple.

The clock and grey shape are different to the ones further up so numbers are likely to be different

There's no information to work them out though so I've just taken them as the same. Unless there's another part of the picture missing op?

Bananas are different to.
I get it as 2+3+3×10

I'd say 19

It's one of those Facebook things where you've got to look closely at things like the exact number of bananas in the bunch. It's counting on you assuming they're the same symbol because you've been conditioned by years of school maths problems. Irritating.

I think 165 as there is no bracket round the last 2 symbols.

This is one of those puzzles that I absolutely hate.
it looks like it should be a 'proper' logical maths puzle.
But
When you look carefully you see the clocks show different times and the multishape o the last line has a pentagon and hexagon whereas the others also include squares.

NB If it is following BODMAS (which it should be) then the last line should multiply bananas by multishape before adding the clock and other bananas on.

Apart from that, I'm out, because I hate trick 'maths' puzzles.

Check no. Of bananas, number of sides and time on clock. And remember bodmas.

Also think 38

(Time is 2 rather than 3; 3 bananas rather than 4; 11 sides on the combined shapes rather than 15)

So 2 + 3 + (3x11) = 38

The shape has 15 sides in the top sum (hexagon, pentagon and square) but only 11 in the bottom sum.

The o'clock matters in the clock.
Each banana is worth 1.
The number of vertices matter with the shapes.

The last clock shows 2 not 3 o'clock. But the grey shape is not the same? So might not be 15.
