Things that are impossible to find but really shouldn't be.

I want an affordable hard back A3 notebook with lined paper that is thick enough to write on both sides. It needs a pen holder. Not too thick or thin and not spiral bound. Not ugly.
I've been looking for months and can I find one?!

What things are you searching for that really shouldn't be this hard to find?

Out of curiosity why do you need an A3 notebook? Wouldn’t an A4 be big enough?

I don't know that I've ever seen an A3 notebook for sale as regular stationery (rather than eg for an artist). I quite like the idea although it wouldn't fit in my work bag and would piss me off a lot I'm sure.

A3 tends more towards art sketchbooks, not writing pads unfortunately!

If you have a Premier Stores near you, try there. I bought a few bags in my local one recently!

My cheapy toaster takes a full slice of bread - the trick is to lay in in sideways!

We have a delonghi icona toaster which actually fits most of a slice in. I have no idea why toaster designers find it so hard to make a toaster which is suitable for um... toasting all the bread.

(I tried aldis own brand, but they were disappointingly nothing like)
