Dla waiting times

hi! New to this all but I started a new claim for my daughter and it was received and stamped on 30th October, reaching 9 weeks and no response as of yet, any ideas of the waiting time ?

Mine was received 26/1 and I can see a payment going in tomorrow. So relieved! Looks like we've been awarded higher rate and lower rate motability.

I called DLA today and was advised that a decision still hasn’t been made and they are working on 10/11 weeks. She advised I should hear by Easter claim received by them 01/02/22. They have said if I have anymore supporting information to send it in as it can help it to be awarded x

Its crazy how they tell you different things. Ive just called they said i will hear imminently- by the end of this week. New claims are 9 weeks and we are over the 9 weeks. I will receive a text message, then followed by a letter.

I only received the holding letter not had a text or letter (expect a letter in the post soon) but can see a payment due to go into my account tomorrow.

Yes, i have read a lot of people did never receive a text message and got their letter after they had been paid into bank. Nothing appears to be universal, the person i spoke to today said the text message service doesn't always work. Also, Brilliant news for you! Its nice to hear good outcomes after such a long wait too!

Yes it’s crazy that we are all told different the person I spoke to on the phone was lovely and she just said that a decision hadn’t been made and new claims were taking 10-11 weeks mine was 1st Feb so hoping to hear soon. I’ve sent another report in the post today should get there tomorrow so hopefully they will have enough information xx
