hi! New to this all but I started a new claim for my daughter and it was received and stamped on 30th October, reaching 9 weeks and no response as of yet, any ideas of the waiting time ?

Cally70 . Thanks for your reply . Oh ok . It’s been 8 weeks since mine one received and have nothing yet . And they keep changing mind . Still I have to wait more 2 weeks . Got told yesterday. Hope u hear soon .

Cally70 that’s helpful thank you. My child’s form was received 17th Jan. when I rang yesterday I was told they are taking 10-12 weeks for new claims and I still had 1-3 weeks left to hear.

I rang last week and they said new claims are taking 8 weeks. Said mine has been received 3 weeks ago so got a long wait yet it seems.

Hi. Just to help with timelines. I rang for forms on 29th November. They received them 7th Jan. it was with assessor 18th March. Money went in today 23rd March. Backdated to 29/11. 17 weeks from my 1st phone call asking for application form. Xx

Bit the bullet and rang, change of circumstances waiting times this week are 18 and a half weeks, I’m on 10th week so loads of waiting. Although she said it was lower last week and changes each week.

Hi all just to update payment is going into my account tomorrow. Rang Monday and it hadn’t even been looked at so they are getting quicker at dealing with them. My child’s app was received 17th Jan

I received a letter this morning apologising that I haven’t had a decision yet but they will be in touch as soon as possible hopefully won’t be too long now. How long between that letter and getting a decision have people any idea? Thanks

Hi, i also received the same letter today. I am going to call Monday morning as it will have been 8 weeks by then. I am hoping towards the end of the first week of April to have some news. X

@Pmp1315 mine will be 8 weeks on Tuesday so I’ll give it until then and see what happens although I know they are running behind x

I had that letter after about 8 weeks too. I had a text yesterday confirming it's being awarded but it doesn't say how much. Hoping I'll get something next week

I received my holding (apology) letter the other day. Application was 26/1 - I'm working on it being 12 weeks from that date...another 4 weeks for me. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼

@Cally70 so just over 9 weeks for a decision? They are getting quicker I think I hope to hear the week after next they received mine on 1st February x

My new claim was stamped 17th Dec asked for extra evidence 7th march sent then it.
Decision maker rang me 21st March was awarded 23rd March.
Mrc no mobility and awarded for 1 year, think mine took longer as wanted more evidence.
Just waiting on back payment now.

@Ilovemychildren123 they wanted the results of the upper endoscopy my son was due to have beginning of the year, however because if covid it's been postponed until Thursday this week.
I rang on Friday to tell then this but they had made a decision without it anyway so.... 🤷‍♀️ x

@Ilovemychildren123 yep basically! I don't know if they where holding off for the results incase they would award hrc instead of mrc 🤷‍♀️
I don't mind though I'm happy to get anything to be honest just waiting for the back dated payment they said would take 3/5 days.

Hey! I just called as its 8 weeks today. Still not with decision maker and the lady said its now a 10 week wait. X

@Pmp1315 another 2 weeks at least then as mine is 8 weeks tomorrow x
