@Amyxkx hope you hear soon. I heard on my 19th week for change of circumstances, I was expecting HRM but he got awarded low again so I've asked for a mandatory reconsideration. They said that will take up to 5 weeks, I'm sending them more evidence on Monday. Hope you get the outcomes your dc deserves

Amyxkx · 12/03/2022 17:10

Glad you have put a reconsideration in, I’ll be doing the same if she gets LRM, wish we could send in video evidence 😩 so hard it being on paper she’s always struggled walking always has to be in pram or held and it’s not good on our backs as she’s getting older xx

Amyxkx · 12/03/2022 17:14

Oh I must of been then, thank you for your advise

Ilovemychildren123 · 12/03/2022 18:21

Ilovemychildren123 · 12/03/2022 18:30

@daisybrown37 they received mine the 1st February so a few more weeks hopefully. I’m not hopeful but will see. How old is your little one x

He is 8. He has dyspraxia and Autism. I have no idea what level they will give him. My eldest has the same and get MRC and LRM.

Fingers crossed you get positive result soon.

That’s great news! I contacted the DLA the same day I got my text message and asked what rate my son was awarded! Spoke to a lovely man who told me the rates and dates to expect payments x So pleased for you x
Ilovemychildren123 · 12/03/2022 19:03

@daisybrown37 thank you for replying. My son is only 2years 4months and has been referred to the the pathway for Autism, also has Hypermobility and global development delay he is also non verbal but out paediatrician said such a grey area as 2 year olds need a lot of care anyway so it’s proving he needs a lot more care than an average 2 year old. Whatever will be will be I just want to get him in to a nursery setting and it’s so expensive our only way in is to get 15 hours if he qualifies for DLA x

Mum2gbg · 12/03/2022 19:34

@daisybrown37 that's brillent news. I'm hoping to hear soon then my form was recieved 10th January x

Tinkerbellone · 14/03/2022 08:42

So pleased I found this thread. My form was received 7th January. I've already had a letter apologising for the delay.
Finger crossed I hear soon. This is for my DD10 Autism & social/school anxiety.
Anyone else heard recently?

Amyxkx · 14/03/2022 09:16

19 weeks for COC my daughter has been awarded LRM

Tinkerbellone · 14/03/2022 11:05

I rang this morning. My form was received 7th Jan. The lady said it would be end of March now. :(

Ilovemychildren123 · 14/03/2022 11:57

@Tinkerbellone is this new claim or change of circumstances? x

Tinkerbellone · 14/03/2022 12:22

@Ilovemychildren123 it was a new claim. I sent in a huge amount of information. Really hoping they don't ask for anymore evidence.

Ilovemychildren123 · 14/03/2022 12:31

@Tinkerbellone hopefully the lady on the phone has it wrong how can someone who’s claim was received on 5th January and yours the 7th take another 2 weeks - I would think you will have a decision soon. My claim was received 1st February I still have a while to wait. How old is your child? Mine is 2 has Hypermobility, global development delay and referred to ND Pathway for Autism x

Suzie37 · 14/03/2022 12:45

My sons dla form was received 14th December and I’ve still not had a decision 😫

PuddlePip · 14/03/2022 13:40

@Amyxkx are you planning on a reconsideration? Glad you've heard back now x

Amyh490 · 14/03/2022 13:50

Hi we recently have been awarded DLA for our son. I was told to apply for backdated child element with universal credit. They say it’s been sent by case manager to decision maker. Does anyone know how long this takes roughly and when if awarded money would be with me Tia

Tinkerbellone · 14/03/2022 14:00

@Ilovemychildren123 my DD is 10. She has Autism and social/school anxiety, sensory issues. Fingers crossed for a good outcome with dla

Ilovemychildren123 · 14/03/2022 14:06

@Tinkerbellone good luck fingers crossed 🤞 I really hope you hear soon xx

Tinkerbellone · 14/03/2022 14:08

@Amyh490
I didn't know they could back
date UC disabled child element. That's good news for me if my DD gets DLA award. UC have always been quick at dealing with changes to my claim. Finger crossed it comes through quickly for you xx

Tinkerbellone · 14/03/2022 14:12

@Ilovemychildren123 yes I'm praying it's a good outcome. Fingers crossed for you too 🤞🏻 Thanks
