I don't think I spent this long choosing my childrens' pushchairs or even the family car!!

I’ve don’t found one I love yet, and time is running out 🙈 I also want a Journal/logbook for my Open Water Swimming

toomuchturmericinwatermelon · 26/12/2021 17:56

@Sunnysidegold

I've opened all these links and am now going to browse for the next half hour!
Half an hour???? I've literally been searching since 10am today and still haven't found 'the one'!

I just use my phone

GU24Mum · 26/12/2021 18:04

I've had the same Boxclever one in the kitchen for years (well before they were even called Boxclever) but they aren't doing "my" calendar this year so the other weekly planner is much worse -
I'll stick it this year but might have to find a new one if they don't bring it back!

LilyGlobe · 26/12/2021 18:10

Thank you! It looks great. I have been having anxiety attacks on a regular basis recently and I just need something to aid my focus.

I’m sorry you’ve been so stressed. I hope the journal helps xx

That was to Drier, I forgot to quote reply Blush

SocksAndTheCity · 26/12/2021 18:15

That diary looks beautiful @AllLopsided - I haven't heard of them before. Maybe I ought to have two in case I lose one Grin

DH bought me a beautiful Smythson organiser two Christmas’ ago, so my annual diary days are in the past. However, I do love browsing the various Filofax inserts every few months and have a solid supply now!

adrianmolesmole · 26/12/2021 19:31

@DazzlePaintedBattlePants

I have an Animal Crossing cover for my hobonichi arriving in January. Can’t wait!
I have a Hobonichi too! I bought the A6 English Techo for next year and I love it already. I'm in love with the minimalist Japanese aesthetic!
adrianmolesmole · 26/12/2021 19:37

@2reefsin30knots try here: www.thejournalshop.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=hobonichi

For the AC cover you might have buy directly from hobonichi but there are loads of others on etsy

2reefsin30knots · 26/12/2021 19:45

@adrianmolesmole it's the actual book I wish I could get, not a cover. The are all out of stock everywhere I have looked inc. thejournalshop. Sad times.

At least I already know what I want for Christmas next year! Grin

NameChangeinHaste · 26/12/2021 19:55

I love my Boxclever press planner, but I always get mine in august ready for the new academic year.

luckylavender · 26/12/2021 20:08

I've found my people!

duvetdayforeveryone · 26/12/2021 20:13

I have the Moleskine - 18-Month Weekly Planner/Diary, Weekly Planner 2021/2022, Weekly Notebook with Soft Cover and Elastic Closure, Size X-Large 19 x 25 cm, Colour Sapphire Blue, 208 Pages.

Have you seen the Kikki K diaries?

If you are after a Hobonichi try the Amazon Japan website. Cheaper than any UK website (even with the postage), lots of choice and delivery is about a week. I always purchase my Hobonichi diaries from there.

duvetdayforeveryone · 26/12/2021 20:15

Sorry, the link to Kikki K was not the UK one :( I can't find a UK one and I can't locate any Kikki K UK stores either :(

DroopyClematis · 26/12/2021 20:16

I do find that a basic calendar is all that I need now. I can look ahead to see what's coming and plan accordingly which is hard to do on my phone.
Yes I can put an event on a particular date but I'll need a reminder beforehand or I might need a reminder a week before eg prepare a dish for a do. I need to see things ahead.
I don't want to put a reminder into my phone or that bloody Alexa , the day before, a week before or more.

A quick visual glance on a calendar is all I need.

adrianmolesmole · 26/12/2021 20:21

@2reefsin30knots ahh sorry, I hadn't realised so many are out of stock already Sad There are many similarly stationery obsessed fb groups that do swaps that could help x

Bibbleybetto · 26/12/2021 20:30

@2reefsin30knots I’ve just ordered my hobonichi cousin and weeks from Amazon Japan and it will be here on Thursday. No animal crossing cove though

RustyBear · 26/12/2021 20:40

I have never found the perfect kitchen calendar for love or money so I make my own every year.

It is a weekly calendar per page, 52 pages for each day of the year. Each page is a Word table with 7 columns with the date in the header. The rows are customised to our family e.g. one row for each dc, one for each of dh and I, meal plan dish for each day. I change the dates/months and print out 52 pages for that year.

The calender is secured with a bull dog clip at the top which hangs on a hook on the kitchen notice board. Once the week is over, I can put it to the back of the stack and re-clip it and hang.

Perfection.

It's good but buying new socks is even nicer.

Hotyogahotchoc · 26/12/2021 20:52

YANBU

I love stationary and diaries!

HemanOrSheRa · 26/12/2021 20:54

I've got a midori traveller's notebook plus assorted refills. I've had the notebook cover for several years and buy whatever refills I fancy for the year ahead.
