Private jets are obscene. The richest 1% are responsible for a huge amount of global emissions so this is awful. But.

I can see that security wise it might not be safe to go on public transport. It’s a days travel by car which is a lot of time out for a PM. Charles isn’t needed quite so much though. He could have gone by car. But then there would need to be security at the service stations. It’s tricky. But it is awful. May be electric coaches with on board facilities would be the way to go so that work could continue and no need fir stops.
