I think her comments today were spot on, although not really professional she makes a valid point.

I come from a northern working class background and we don’t go around in our jobs calling people scum. It’s an insult to my family to say we’re like that. It’s also a lazy way to say you disapprove of people’s actions and policies.

I'm talking about Rayner's comments insulting Labour's voters and her attitude contributing Labour losing election after election because Labor blame the electorate for being stupid, not themselves for having nothing to offer said electorate but insults.

I'm not a Labour voter, which you might have realised by now, but I think a strong and constructive opposition is vital for the success of any government and a country.

I agree aost entirely with what she said. Boris and the Tories are awful. However, she is the deputy leader of the opposition and she shouldn't have said it. She is trying to win the young people over but they are generally left leaning anyway - she is alienating traditional labour voters who voted Tory and is effectively labelling them scum too - that's just idiotic. And for the record, I did not and will never vote Tory.
