Anyone got any Adult DC with no tattoos

Has anyone got any young adult children who don't have tattoos and don't like them. My DS who is 21 said that he's never getting a tattoo as he doesn't like them. It made wonder how common are tattoos nowadays?

There are 17 adult children in my family (siblings/step siblings) all in 20's or early 30's and only one has a tattoo

Oh no, I don't regret mine. It's quite a nice tattoo still, imo. I still like it anyway.

I have two DCs in mid twenties - no tattoos - not ones that I can see anyway!
Both say they can't imagine liking the same things when they are in their 40s that they do in their 20s, so wouldn't have a tattoo on that basis.

Eldest Ds is 24 and doesn't have any and neither does my other Ds who is 23.
There dad has a few but they don't want any.

That’s made me think. There are 21 of us, and only my Dad has tattoos out of his Gen (5 - his sibling and my Mums siblings) he was and still is a massive rebel, he’s going to be a pain in my arse as he ages!) and just me and DBro out of the 17 adult cousins.

As for my Grandparents - my Dads Mum got a tattoo on her 60th birthday as she got married and had my Dad when she was 16, so didn’t have opportunity to rebel and I remain shocked that she did it!

I'm 35, no tattoos, neither do the majority of my friends.

I've always liked the idea of getting one if I found the perfect image but I never have. Although tbh my body is far from perfect now that I've had 2 kids so I might just go for a random one!

Neither of my sons have tattoos and neither do their friends. DS1's ex had loads of very delicate ones on her arms but she had lots of self harm scars she was covering.

I am the only one in the house with tattoos. Dh and adult dc both over 30 non. Dd at times talks about a small one, but none of her friends have any. Ds no desire.

My 18yo and 16yo find them passé and deeply uncool. Lots of their friends are getting them and they're both appalled 😂😂

My mums got 3 adult children and one has 2 tattoos and the other 2 don't have any

I'm not a fan of tattoos. My dc are too young to have them (13 and 16). I doubt they will, but you never know I guess. Nobody in my family or dh's family has any. I don't really know anyone who does actually.

I'm early 30s have no tattoos, I think they are gross. I have a lot of piercings though, including a genital one. My parents only know about my ears Grin

Most people I know have at least one, but I don't have any myself. Humans have been marking themselves for thousands of years so I find it strange how the pearl clutchers respond to them.

Oh and my Mum hates tattoos, thinks they’re common and people will regret them etc. Rammed that into me my whole life. As soon as I could I got a beautiful tattoo! It’s neither common and I don’t regret it one bit
Nor should you. But I'm enjoying the competition of people falling over themselves to say how above the influence and uninterested in following the crowd everyone's DC are Wink

I know that one of the doctors at my surgery has at least one. She was examining me, she twisted a bit and her top moved revealing the start of what I thought to be a much larger piece. Mind you in A&E a few years ago one of the doctors there had one on his upper arm. One of my children has some I have many and so does my Fiance.

In my group (six 31 year olds) I'm the only one with no tattoos.
My husband also doesn't have any.
