Peachy92 · 31/08/2021 12:14

60-80 a week 2 adults 1 toddler
Varies as will only buy exactly what's needed each week

Lonelylooloo · 31/08/2021 12:14

2 adults
1 small child
1 baby
1 cat

About £150- a week including nappies/wipes, household and pet.

gwenneh · 31/08/2021 12:15

I budget about 250 but it's really more like 300-350 once top-ups are included.

I am paying for convenience though; the shop closest to my house has the most expensive prices. If I'm willing to drive 20 minutes out to the nearest Aldi and then just top up at the nearby shop, it cuts the bill significantly. I just find that the produce and meat from Aldi don't seem to last as long.

jclm · 31/08/2021 12:15

£160 per week (2 adults and 2 children under 10), not including a few lunches bought out

gwenneh · 31/08/2021 12:15

Oh and that figure is for 2 adults, 3 DC and 2 cats.

DrunkenKoala · 31/08/2021 12:17

Two adults, a 12 & 6 yr old. Over a month it averages out to about £170 per week.

kirstyr3892 · 31/08/2021 12:17

£60-80/week Smile

2 adults
1 DSD here 50%
1 small child

That's breakfasts/packed lunches/dinners. I do try and meal plan and avoid waste were possible.

tintodeverano2 · 31/08/2021 12:19

I shop fortnightly. £120 for the fortnight for 2 adults and a very hungry pre-teen.

LookAtMoiPloise · 31/08/2021 12:20

About £40 for two adults.

GreenestValley · 31/08/2021 12:20

A hundred quid a week - ish. That's for a couple no children though, including most meals and most lunches bar the odd lunch or dinner out.

BiddyPop · 31/08/2021 12:22

€300 on average, 2 adults and 1 teen, includes alcohol, hair and beauty items, cleaning products etc. Costs have escalated in the past couple of years, teen has become bottomless pit and fussy, and we can afford it but I do want to reduce it.

PepsiHoover · 31/08/2021 12:23

It averages out about £80 a week.

2 adults, two primary aged kids and no pets.

ByGrabtharsHammerWhatASavings · 31/08/2021 12:24

This thread is making me feel better about how much we spend! 2 adults, a 2 year old and 4 year old, we spend £100-120 a week. That includes all toiletries/cleaning stuff and about £25 a week on a riverford veg box.

FrownedUpon · 31/08/2021 12:25

£70 a week.

L1ttleSeahorse · 31/08/2021 12:27

£100 a week but I'd like to get it down. Im amazed by some of these responses though!! 300/7 is £40 odd quid a day!!!

cjpark · 31/08/2021 12:30

£150. Thats for everything. 2 Adults and 2 teens. It was £220 a week 6 months ago, but I switched to getting 70% of our list from lidl and the other 30% from butcher / fishmonger.

110APiccadilly · 31/08/2021 12:31

About £40 a week, two adults and a 9 month old. Most of that is a weekly Lidl shop (probably about £35) but I also do a top-up shop in Tesco or Morrisons about once a month for stuff I can't get in Lidl (e.g. salt-free stock cubes), which is around £20.

CorianderBee · 31/08/2021 12:32

£100ish - 2 adults

India92 · 31/08/2021 12:32

Around £60 per week for two adults.

We do spend a fair bit on take aways and meals out though

Suzi7979 · 31/08/2021 12:34

90 a week

3WildOnes · 31/08/2021 12:39

@gwenneh £350 3p/w! Do you live in lobster and caviar?!
We spend about £120. This included an organic fruit and veg box and an organic meat box. Rest of shop is at Sainsbury’s or Waitrose.

McAvennie · 31/08/2021 12:39

Generally £80ish per week for 2 adults and a pre-schooler, though would also usually have a weekend lunch out + evening takeaway on top.
