India Knight's decision entirely if she wants to remain in a relationship with a convicted paedophile. But for a woman who's made a career on advising people how to live their lives, it's hardly surprising if a chunk of her readership no longer wish to read her advice.

Her child, who has additional needs, also lives with the man in question. I think that's what people primarily object to. She'll never be cancelled though, because her stepfather is a senior Times executive.

Their relationship was used as mitigation in his court case, which she presumably allowed. That’s beyond the pale.

I think I read that her daughter now lives with IK's ex husband (and the child's father), the novelist Andrew O'Hagan. Which is no doubt for the best. But imagine choosing your paedophile partner over your own child. Yech.

Making jokes about using him as a hired thug to intimidate others (along the lines of 'I can send him round to sort them out/threaten/attack them') is utterly her responsibility, though. And makes it pretty clear she doesn't have a problem with any of his behaviour.
