However, I'm sat here waiting for the washer to finish so I can hang the load out. I may even put another load in to go out first thing in the morning too!

I do that every night, it was dry by 9 this morning

Seems fine to me in this weather, but I use a tumble drier (and would maybe worry about thunderstorms we sometimes get in bit weather ...)

@LavenderAskew no I really don't, however I've decided that as I'm approaching a significant birthday this year I'm throwing caution to the wind.

Although, it is only towels so not too risky

I do it too but I do sometimes find it's an invitation for the birds to shit on it during their morning chorus
