Seriously, spider willies and your washing will be darked on. I was a non believer and ignored the warnings. Don’t be like me.

I live in the south east and do this all the time in the summer when it's so hot. Clothes are a little damp in the morning but I just pop them in the dryer for no more than 5 minutes and fold.

Opened this thread just for the spider willies comment, I was not disappointed

It's been raining all day so not doing it today but I do it fairly regular, despite the spider jizz warnings

I don’t trust the birds either! Mine is going on a timer so it’ll have finished washing when I wake up and I’ll hang it out before work.

Mine is hung out awaiting spider willy action.

It’s a definite bbq day, so that would be my only concern (neighbours love their bbqs)

I washed all my hideously sweaty clothes I'd been gardening in and hung them out at 7pm. I am a little worried about them getting darked on. Might see if they are dry enough to bring in before I go to bed.

I do it quite often. Those spider Willies don’t scare me!

I hung a load out in the dark on Friday, it was dry by morning!

They might resort to sucking the moisture out of the clothes

I fear for your laundry. I think you will be re-doing your laundry. Thus further adding to the carbon crisis.

It's forecast to be 19° overnight here, I've got two loads out I want dry by morning. No tumble dryer so gotta make the most of every dry day and night there is! I hate washing taking up room in the house!

I do it all the time since having my second child. More washing & less time during the day so I usually do a load once they're in bed.

I'm glad you posted this op as I've been doing this recently. I often wonder the neighbours probably think I'm too lazy to bring it in at night but if I put it out and leave it I can put a new lot out at 9am as these will be dry.

Just put mine out and another load on timer so it's ready to be hung in the morning.
