You have to leave them out now , otherwise when you bring them in, it won't be Spider Willies waiting ...

I leave my washing out overnight all the time.

I know MN is obsessed with the wasn't-funny-the-first-time spider/darked on jokes but round here, you genuinely have to give all the washing a good shake in the morning due to the earwigs which crawl into it overnight.

It was 30 degrees here today. I hung my washing out earlier and it was bone dry within 30 minutes! I wouldn’t leave it out overnight personally, my Nan has always said it’s a slovenly thing to do so it sticks in my mind .

I've just brought mine in. I couldn't leave it out overnight. I wouldn't be able to relax knowing it was out there. I have absolutely no idea why!

That's what I used to be like, but I must be getting more chill in my advancing years. That, and the fact that one day off from washing and I've got 4 loads backed up my standards had to give sadly.

I did it last night and again tonight (also towels). Don’t care about spider genitalia and her next door is hardly going to judge me, she leaves hers out for DAYS sometimes

Doing exactly the same, I was keen to leave the house and sit in my mums beautiful garden - I wasn't waiting for a wash cycle.

I did this last night. In fact it's still out there now as I'm far too hot to be messing about with laundry. Dark and spider willies be damned! 😂😂

Exactly, the other day I hung out a sheet, pillow cases then the duvet cover. By the time I'd done the duvet cover, the sheet was dry!

Mines out too. Its my bedsheets.
I've found from previous experience that spider willies and being darked on don't actually effect how well I sleep on them

Look at you BBC weather app if no rain stick it out, I have been doing this for years. I even do it this in the winter. I like to live dangerously.

Ah sorry for going too far. It absolutely gave me the heave on the other thread. I know, like the book says, that everyone poos but I have never seen a spider actually poo until today. Like great whites giving birth. You know it happens but no one usually sees.

I disturbed so many spiders today when I was gardening. They are going to be queuing up for my next load of washing.
