Inspired by another thread where a poster said she always has a box of lovely chocolates on the go and has one a night, I'd love to do this. I have a really sweet tooth, and do like to eat chocolate at night but I'm finding every bar too big , but of course if you start one, you finish it. I think I'd like to do the one chocolate thing but I'm very much a Cadbury person at mo and all the boxed chocolates in the supermarkets are a bit meh. So I need recommendations for boxes of lovely chocs , where you can just eat one at a time

It's a myth. No one eats one at a time

HaroldTheHare · 17/07/2021 19:36

One chocolate a night, bloody hell.

I do, if it's the nice type or a flavoured one. But if its heroes or celebrations I cant stop!

I was thinking hotel chocolat . I've only ever had a little Christmas decoration from there and cant remember if it was nice but I know they do those little mixed packs

The answer is it dark, bitter truffles. They aren’t ‘that kind of chocolate (the easily over-indulgent kind) so you can’t eat more than one or two at a time.

This is Harry Specters, they do a chocolate club so you can get a monthly box. www.harryschocs.co.uk/collections/chocolate-club

I find it hard to eat more than 1 or 2 leonidas or hotel chocolat chocolates at a time as they're really rich
In Ireland I had Butlers which were also really lovely

GenderIsFigurativelyBollocks · 17/07/2021 19:44

Prestat do a chocolate and truffles box - expensive but gorgeous. They're expensive though (mine were a gift but I think the box was about £20) The flavours are so "rich" you can just have one and it's a proper treat.

God I want one now!!

I like the look of their amazing chocolate counter. Theres a lovely farm shop near me with a little one so I could go and choose there

I like hotel chocolat too.

I’m surprised at the posters saying you can’t eat one a night. If I have a box of nice chocolates that’s what I always do. Especially if they’re expensive - I like to make them last!

RampantIvy · 17/07/2021 19:44

Booja Booja. They are vegan, but don't taste at all "worthy", just rich and luscious.
