Inspired by another thread where a poster said she always has a box of lovely chocolates on the go and has one a night, I'd love to do this. I have a really sweet tooth, and do like to eat chocolate at night but I'm finding every bar too big , but of course if you start one, you finish it. I think I'd like to do the one chocolate thing but I'm very much a Cadbury person at mo and all the boxed chocolates in the supermarkets are a bit meh. So I need recommendations for boxes of lovely chocs , where you can just eat one at a time

Agree with booja booja. Also Lickey the Spoon is amazing!

Whenthedealgoesdown · 17/07/2021 21:21

Leonidas, Hotel Chocolate,
I did have a large pack of Hotel Chocolat arrive today as there was an offer on last week so I felt I had to use it.

Changethatname81 · 17/07/2021 21:22

*Lick the Spoon!

tealandteal · 17/07/2021 21:25

I like hotel chocolat as I'm quite fussy and I buy a couple of their selectors to mix and make my own box of chocolates.

ForeverHomeSearcher · 17/07/2021 21:25

I second Chococo mentioned earlier. We had Easter eggs from them this year. Amazing!

Chickpea22 · 17/07/2021 21:27

Leonidas. I really don’t rate hotel chocolat.

Chickpea22 · 17/07/2021 21:29

Oooh or pump street chocolate which is delicious and bars are small or booja booja hazelnut or espresso which are so rich you only need a couple.

Els1e · 17/07/2021 21:34

Another vote for Chococo.

Whenthedealgoesdown · 17/07/2021 21:56

I do have to stop DH troughing into really nice chocolates, I bought some Leonidas Manon off Amazon as a small nightly treat and he was troughing into them like they were a three quid box of Milk Tray

I also like Niederegger marzipan chocolates and buy them when they are on offer

Jackgrealishscurtains · 17/07/2021 22:02

Monty Bojangles are possibly the best chocolates I have ever had!

Ranunculaceae · 17/07/2021 22:05

Booja Booja here too, they've been my favourite chocolates for more than a decade.

eurochick · 17/07/2021 22:08

Neuhaus are my favourite boxed chocolates, closely followed by Godiva. I used to live in Belgium and have tried most brands!

I like a hotel Chocolat but eat too much of it as when I am in the office I work right opposite a branch.

For bars, I like Lindt and Tonys.

BecksBristol · 17/07/2021 22:10

Seven Hills Artisan Chocolate
and I haven't tried it yet, but The Mallow Tailor looks very good.

rosalindwi · 17/07/2021 22:11

Guillean seashells

Paul A. Young or Melt.

TheWashingMachine · 17/07/2021 22:30

I recently got given some, I think they were called Russell Atwell and they were literally the most delicious chocs I've had in ages.

waltzingparrot · 17/07/2021 22:32

Honestly, a Monty Bojangle truffle every night will sort you out

kowari · 17/07/2021 22:37

Cococaravan, though it's mostly small chocolate bars, not individual chocolates. I think they do some chocolate plums and dates too.

Another vote for Booja Booja. I'd be very disappointed if I didn't get a box for Christmas.

LemonSherbetFancies · 17/07/2021 22:58

Tony's salted caramel chocolate is lovely

BIG JARS OF TRUFFLES

Montezuma's is really good chocolate, and a great selection. Unusual.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 17/07/2021 23:04

I got some from this shop for DH on his 60th. He shared some with me. The ginger is truly amazing.
