Just tell me the best (worst?) but most untraceable acts of revenge/comeuppance that you've heard....Asking for a friend.....Wink

Inthesameboatatmo · 23/06/2021 08:50

My sister has pissed in an exes aftershave and another ex when she found out he was cheating, made him a curry with dog food .

AwaAnBileYerHeid · 23/06/2021 08:51

@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll

I mean - can you even imagine the horror of being her in that moment?

No sympathy whatsoever. And it wasn't really revenge as such, I'd say - more just letting her realise that she'd been found out. Full-on revenge would have been something like spraying 'CHEAT' all over her car, so that everybody would see it (and probably photograph it and put it online).

By just replacing one ordinary car for another ordinary car in the same space, he was actually being very kind to her, as nobody but she would have had the faintest clue that anything was amiss.

Not that I'm complaining at you in any way for sharing it with us, you understand Grin

I actually think it's brilliant and way better than blatant revenge such as keying 'cheat' into her car. At least if he had done the latter, it would have been brought out into the open, she could confront him and be like wtf?? But this...I wouldn't know what to think or do or say. All I would know is that I'd been caught and I would be silently shitting myself. Way worse than some out and out act of revenge
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 23/06/2021 08:55

I understand the desire to see a nasty person get their comeuppance, but some of these suggestions would get you in trouble with the police. The superglued penis could have caused serious health problems, so is surely ABH, if not GBH.

Also not fair to cause nuisance for neighbours, small businesses, random passers by too, as some of these would do.

I liked this one, though! Grin

My ex left his email open on my tablet. While snooping I saw he had joined an online dating website. I was able to get into his profile and change his height to 5ft 2. He wasn't the tallest I the first place. I realise how petty that sounds but that's me.

MrsMackesy · 23/06/2021 08:58

This thread is so depressing to read and downright grubby in places and so I'm going to stop.

Cheeseandlobster · 23/06/2021 09:00

I want to know who the rude drunken author is

TheTuesdayPringle · 23/06/2021 09:04

A lot of these are seriously nasty! Like a guide to being bitter and deranged.

The strongest thing I've ever done is order incontinence pants for a very aggressive neighbour. Of course I didn't see his reaction but just knowing was enough 😂

suggestionsplease1 · 23/06/2021 09:07

I'm not generally a huge fan of revenge and fortunately haven't had many occasions in my life where it would have occurred to me.

Also tend to think that for scenarios like cheating well the cheater is probably quite highly motivated by attention in the first place to get themselves into that situation, so why give them what they want by showing you are still paying attention to them and focusing on them that much that you are inspired to calculate revenge?

The most galling thing for them is probably to be ignored.

However that said on one occasion I was inspired to a small act. A girlfriend I had been in a relationship with for 6 years left suddenly and I had suspected that she had had an affair with a co-worker and left to pursue this. This was of course denied and she said she was moving back in with her mum. A short while later she sent a message apologising that an Amazon order she had made had come out of a joint back account we had and that she would transfer money over. My laptop was still set to her login for Amazon as I rarely used it and I spotted the new address for her deliveries...the OW at work's home address. So I couldn't resist and within 2 minutes used her account to purchase the book 'Why you lie, cheat and deceive' to go to their house as a house warming gift in addition to the wine rack and set of kitchen scales she had ordered.

CharlieB93 · 23/06/2021 09:09

One of my friends removed items from the flat she shared with her cheating OH. Items such as the plate from the microwave, all of the oven grills, shower head 😂

bakingbernie · 23/06/2021 09:13

These are all very well but I would like to get some sort of 'revenge' on someone who has ruined the enjoyment of the place I live. She has lied and manipulated the authorities and always seems to come up smelling of roses. None of the suggestions above are suitable, practical etc.
Anyone any ideas?

A 'colleague' was being mercilessly bullied at work. They took the fruit punnet the bully was eating from into the toilet and proceeded to 'rim' the grapes. Then sat and watched as the bully demolished them all.

'Give me shit and you will be tasting mine!'

WhatInFreshHell · 23/06/2021 09:17

@Verbena87

There was a girl at my school who mercilessly and quietly bullied another for months on end. She was subtle and manipulative and always got away with it.

Straight-a good-girl friend of the girl being bullied brought a stitch ripper in on PE day and whilst the bully was doing PE, opened the crotch seam in the bully’s school trousers, folded them back up in the changing rooms so they looked untouched, and quietly went back to class. I am 34 and still think about it when I’ve really had enough of someone’s nonsense.

....I think I might know you...well, not your name or exactly who you are, obviously!
Abhannmor · 23/06/2021 09:20

Yes! Changing his profile on the dating app is genius. Super glueing someone's urethra could prove fatal though in the right/ wrong circumstances.

Sunnyday321 · 23/06/2021 09:29

@SecondCityShark

I'm a librarian , and have interviewed a few authors for book events . MC come to mind !

CoRhona: *The best revenge is living well.

Boring but true*

Agree. Also sometimes being a certain type of person can be its own punishment. I think your so-called best mate will suffer badly from fucking off with this man. And he will suffer from being the type of person that everyone hates!

Houseofvelour · 23/06/2021 09:36

This was a revenge on me.

Early twenties and I had a couple of friends over. We were absolutely hammered and I was being a bit of a twat in all honesty. We put a movie on and I left the room and when I came back, they were sitting watching it and I realised I couldn't understand a word of the movie. It wasn't making any sense. Genuinely thought I was having a stroke.
They'd changed the language to German 🤦‍♀️😂

Yeah this thread wasn’t amusing, unwatching too
feathersandferns · 23/06/2021 09:37

@SecondCityShark I know you can't say, but I'm now dying to know who this writer was Grin What a knob!

@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll I can well believe this. Ugh, how embarrassing it must have been to watch!

Gothichouse40 · 23/06/2021 09:42

If your friend is thinking of doing something. Please tell them not to do it. Revenge never works and can sometimes have consequences you don't/cannot foresee.

Branleuse · 23/06/2021 09:42

@Ylvamoon

Having a greasy & expensive takeaway delivers to their address - payment in cash / by card upon arrival. (Just ensure your number is withheld when ordering! or cheap payg phone)
err, they would just turn the takeaway away and the delivery driver would be in the shit
reesewithoutaspoon · 23/06/2021 09:45

ex mil. being an absolute bitch during divorce proceedings. Took a tin of white emulsion paint and 4 flashing lights from a skip and turned her bowling green lawn into a helicopter landing pad.

8 pages in? 🤣🤣
ravenmum · 23/06/2021 09:49

I changed the password on his laptop to the word "COWARD" and the "password hint" to "Word that best describes you". In the end he phoned up and asked what the word was, but I like to think that he tried out a few ideas he thought appropriate first.

Justgonamless · 23/06/2021 09:51

I once heard of the woman that still had a key to her cheating ex’s house. He was away so she went in and soaked his carpets with water - every single room. She then sprinkled 1000s of cress seeds all over the carpets. I’ve always loved that story.

Gladimnotcampinginthisweather · 23/06/2021 09:53

I feel really uncomfortable about this thread too.
