I'd love it

Mogloveseggs · 13/06/2021 21:59

That's gorgeous

piglet81 · 13/06/2021 22:00

Nooooo. I do know of someone who does, but it would weird me out!

RealisticSketch · 13/06/2021 22:00

Stunning!! Why on earth would younot want that!?

MyGirlDaisy · 13/06/2021 22:02

I would. Saw one on Homes underthe Hammer recently and it was fabulous.

Nohugstoday25 · 13/06/2021 22:02

I know right I mean it’s a bit over our budget 🤣 but I don’t get why it’s a bad idea !

Depends on the inside. I hate it when they absolutely gut it and make it look like some super modern barn conversion. I want some atmosphere!

SchrodingersImmigrant · 13/06/2021 22:04

I would but I think I would need some kind of holy reversal on land. I blasphem too much😂

PixieDust28 · 13/06/2021 22:06

Very pretty but no thank you. One small creak would have me 🏃🏻‍♀️.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 13/06/2021 22:06

It's beautiful but no

Ylvamoon · 13/06/2021 22:06

I would love the inside space, if done sympathetically.
The outside space goes without saying Old Church = Old Graveyard.

Sparklesocks · 13/06/2021 22:07

Sorry your purchase fell through.
I think it depends on the inside/location but it’s lovely - I wouldn’t be creeped out by the church factor, I understand why some might be but lots of buildings are converted from old churches so I wouldn’t mind living in one.

tealandteal · 13/06/2021 22:07

Yes to a converted church on its own. No to a converted church if it had a graveyard.

EwwSprouts · 13/06/2021 22:07

Yes I'd live there.

NcagainNC · 13/06/2021 22:07

It’s really beautiful but there’d be too much history for me personally

I live in an old Wesleyan Chapel with graves!
Love our house😀

SleepingStandingUp · 13/06/2021 22:10

it looks lovely, if it's only slightly over budget I'd Def put in an offer or see if we could raise the finance

Umberellatheweatha · 13/06/2021 22:11

Absolutely! Would be my dream home. Would leave it all open plan apart from the kitchen and bathroom. And just have bedroom on a messinae.
Also, you wouldn't expect a church to ge haunted tbh. That being said I I dunno if I'd stay in one that had a graveyard.

romdowa · 13/06/2021 22:11

It looks amazing 🥰🥰🥰 there is an old converted church in our town and I'm always jealous of the people who live there.

NeedWineNow · 13/06/2021 22:12

No, not on your life. I'd be too freaked out however beautifully it's been converted.

Nohugstoday25 · 13/06/2021 22:12

Kids are totally backing me on this one - for once 🤣

Go for a viewing and see if you like the feel of it.

Sparklesocks · 13/06/2021 22:12

I might buy it if you don’t Wink

idontlikealdi · 13/06/2021 22:14

I'd do it!
