I switched BBC 1 on early and am waiting for Casualty. The programme on at the moment is hosted AGAIN by Paddy McGuinness. He is rarely off the screen and I cannot understand it! He has a simply dreadful dialect and will keep sounding a hard G in singing. Apart from that he yells at the top of his (Very unattractive) voice. How on earth does this man keep a job on television?

I find him pretty excruciating too. But it seems to be the way with TV presenters, they just fling jobs at them. Philip bloody Schofield is everywhere too, wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up and present Newsnight next.

Really dislike him.

I used to love Max and Paddy with him and Peter Kay. I find him ok actually, on Top Gear etc but I do not understand the show he presents about the good/bad singing. I even think the good singers are bad.

He's OK, but he's become an exaggerated version of himself.

Foreigner here, I can't understand why you would choose two hosts with thick thick accents/dialects for a worldwide broadcasted programme. Doesn't make it easier to understand.

I think English is quite lovely when spoken well, and I know there should be room for various dialects, but the new top gear really is an abomination to listen to.

What really grinds my gears is that he goes on about Bolton, but, he left as soon as he was able .. never to come back.

No idea why the BBC keep inflicting him on us - another game show hosted by a white man .. you would think they would give us some variety

Nothing wrong with a Bolton accent. I like paddy my Dh loves the new top gear too.

His ears are too small

Can't say I've seen Paddy McGuiness on my box in years

Oh I don't know I live in Bolton ,very broad Boltonians sound just like him.

@Franklyyes I have children with asd too, we still wear knickers I don’t post pictures of myself wearing them I just send them to dh but it doesn’t make my children any less challenging

Yes God forbid a woman with ASD children should dare have a life outside of them. How very dare she.

They have three children with ASD that must be hard though ,I know one of kids has a blue badge as there were complaints about it in the Bolton news 🙄,I have one child with severe autism and that's hard enough
