To ask how many bras you own?

Random question yes but how many?
I ask because I stopped breastfeeding 5 weeks ago (I'm heartbroken it's over but that's irrelevant) and don't want to be wearing maternity/nursing/unsupportive bras of course so I've just ordered myself some today. I've not gone mad, just from George but I've ordered 7. Couple of nicer lacie ones, but mainly just basic bras. Came up in conversation with DH (shared finances, no issues with me buying them at all) and he seemed surprised I'd bought so many. I guess before babies etc I just sort of accumulated bras...so would have different sizes in circulation which would get binned as I changed size/shape. This is a fresh bra start I suppose as I have none that fit.
Is 7 extravagant? I guess I just want to know if he has a point...

7 would be better as I only wear mine once before washing.

1. 2 black, 1 nude and 1 white. All the same style.

At present around 12 without actually counting. I intend on getting another couple soon.

About 25 matching sets, I like different colours and patterns. More if you add on exercise ones.

Currently 2 as I have gained weight. But when I lose the weight again I have 4.

6 ? Four exactly the same design - black, navy, white & pink. An old favourite black one and a random navy one that I like. I always stick to the same basic design.

Probably around 25.

Bras I actually wear 3 and a sports bra.

Absolutely nothing wrong with having 7 bras, of course, but I would probably have bought a smaller number of more expensive properly fitted ones, rather than 7 from a supermarket. Up to you though!

I've got around 20......and have just ordered a few more.

8 I think. My weight goes up and down though so they don't all fit at the same time!

But only 2 black and 2 white are comfy enough to wear regularly

1 complicated low cut backless contraption, 7 regular wired bras (all either nude or black with one teal one) & about 15/20 bralettes/sports bras.

I had a purge of about 40 bras a few months ago and only kept the ones I find comfortable.

Maybe 4 good ones, 3 backups.

I hate bra shopping. Hard to size large boobs, especially online, and I find they're rarely both comfortable AND supportive enough.

About 8. All the same Wild Bloom from M&S. Bought one about 6 years ago and it happened to fit really well - as well as the Triumph ones I had worn for years but they were £16 rather than £38 :).

They last and wash very well. I don't think I've ever bought more than two at once though and think I only had two or three between children but it was a long time ago now.

No 7 is fine. I'm surprised you were able to buy 7 that'll fit well in the same shop.

I've got about 12 for everyday then about 4 'specialist' bras. So strapless, multi-way etc.

I'd say buy 4 then top up as you need. It might be a while before your size settles so you may want to get a few and see how you go.

I have loads as when I get new ones I'm reluctant to throw old ones away. I have at least 6 sports bras for a start

I probably have that many but accumulated over some time. I wouldn’t buy 7 in one go! If you’ve just finished feeding, you may find your shape changes as well.
