I am glad, I think this was the right decision and I didn't agree with his comments. Mental health is a huge issue and I think he took it too far.

Has he? Hardly ever watch the bloke (or much Morning Newsy Progs) but thought I'd tune in for the pre-show Oprah stuff. Mostly heard some woman shouting at him, it was not good TV so I switched off.

Has he declared a particular reason for quitting or did he find this Morning TV Newsy stuff as boring as I do.

ITV are contemptible. They have a mental health campaign and are all '#BeKind' after one of their presenters, Caroline Flack, commited suicide after abuse by trolls, yet they give this c**t a platform to harass and stalk Meghan Markle day after day for three years.

I wish advertisers would boycott them and hit them in the wallet where it hurts.

A Dr (big brain) turned his own tactics on him - shouted him down into silence, had her say, and moved on. The first and only person to do it! That eroded his armour and Alex sauntered up to finish the job.

I was called an attention seeking liar at 17 when I started self harming . My GP laughed, told me I was a nutter and if I was genuinely suicidal I’d work harder at it . That was only twelve years ago .

It was years before I could ever talk about my mental health again and even now I don’t fully trust doctors and nurses, I’m scared they’re laughing too .

I’m utterly relieved that Piers will no longer able to spout his drivel on daytime TV and do any more damage to the way we treat mental health .

Can you imagine being someone with so much hate being thrown at you every single day for years, I'm not surprised she contemplated suicide. Adults, children have gone through with it for less!!

Since I've not had to leave the house for work I have watched it intermittently. Certainly enough to form an opinion on them all. Today was a delight to see - Alex the silent assassin. 🥂🥂

I’m wondering if the talks took place this morning, hence his toddler strop. Ofcom has a ridiculously high amount of complaints so ITV were likely forced to take a stance. And I can’t imagine that stance being Morgan actually making a formal apology.
